DevOps Engineer - Frontend at Nathan Digital

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer with a focus on frontend development to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer specializing in frontend technologies, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of frontend applications. You will be responsible for optimizing our frontend development processes, implementing best practices for continuous integration and delivery, and maintaining the infrastructure required to support frontend development workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain frontend build pipelines, incorporating automated testing, code analysis, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to streamline development workflows and improve code quality.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code solutions for frontend development environments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Monitor and optimize frontend application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on our development processes.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of frontend applications, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
• Provide support and guidance to development teams on frontend development best practices and tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to frontend development and deployment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on frontend development.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools for frontend applications is a plus.
