    Chief Officers

    Job Responsibilities

    • The Accounting and authorized officer in respect to the exercise of delegated powers and shall be responsible to the respective County Executive Member
    • Oversee the management of finances, preparation and submission of budget estimates, annual plans and programmes
    • Responsible for implementation of policies and development plans in the department
    • Responsible for Development and implementation  of strategic plans in the department
    • Formulate and implement effective programs to vision 2030 and sector goals
    • Promote national values and principles of the County Public Service in the department

    Qualifications

    • Be a Kenyan Citizen
    • Be a holder of a First Degree from a recognized University in Kenya. Those with a Master’s degree have an added advantage
    • Have at least 10 years’ experience in leadership at senior management level in the public or private sector
    • Membership to a Professional Association body will be and added advantage
    • Be a competent in the use of IT as working tool
    • Possess knowledge of organization and functions of County Government
