The Duties and Responsibilities for the position include:

• Supervision of cash operations to ensure prompt banking of cash and cheques, timely recording of receipts, payments, reconciliation of bank and petty cash accounts.
• Handling all bank correspondences
• Making quotations
• Invoicing
• Maintenance of accurate and updated accounting information
• Monitoring and authorizing Petty Cash expenses and reimbursements, staff imprest and advances.
• Processing payment to suppliers
• Maintaining the payroll account
• Provide the liaison with external auditors in audit of financial statements
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
• Filing accounting documents
• Sending customer statement and following up on the payment of the same
• Managing daily postings of transactions
• Reconciling finance statements on a weekly and monthly basis
• Managing daily postings of transactions
• Assistance in store management
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Management

Desired Qualifications include:

• CPA(K) and a Finance graduate
• Desired Experience 1-3 years working in the Accounts Department.
