The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience in corporate, preferably banking or in a law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of resources in the Legal department.
• Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management.
• Progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with external advocates.
• Follow up with respective banks/parties for settlement of claims.
• Run the affairs of the company secretarial arm of the company.
Qualifications:
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Must be an advocate of the High Court.
• Must be a certified public secretary.
