Production Manager & Production Supervisor at HRBP Solutions

Purpose

To lead the activities of the team members in the production of quality confectionery in accordance with work instructions and company policy and to ensure quality products are delivered in a timely manner.

Production Manager & Production Supervisor Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining work related training for all production staff
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining safety standards as required by law and company policy
• Coaches and provides technical expertise to resolve production processing issues and ensures corrective action is implemented.
• Responsible for creating a high morale workplace with the highest ethical standards
• Manage the scheduling of production, set work schedules, conduct performance evaluations and set sectional goals and expectations.
• Ensuring production processing methodology (quality and safety) are adhered to and not compromised
• Ensure the appropriate level of accountability for production goals and objectives at the team leaders and team members level
• Plans and monitors capacity maximization for the production team
• Utilizes problem solving techniques, teamwork building strategies, process control and continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the production key operating statistics
• Facilitate team leaders workflow management, workforce scheduling and team members placement to ensure the company goals are successfully met
• Develops, analyses and present monthly reports, including forecasts, productivity and safety.
• Assigns controls and monitors required recourse to achieve established schedules
• Conduct, lead or implement the appropriate process audits, corrective and preventive actions leading to minimizing or eliminating process waste.

Qualifications for the Production Manager & Production Supervisor Job

• The preferred candidate should have ten or more years of progressive experience as a supervisor or a manager in a fast moving consumer goods industry.
• A degree or higher national diploma from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
