Job Description
In line with the institutional need to keep the ICRC Database on Customary International Humanitarian Law up-to-date, the Legal Consultant is to provide his/her expertise in collecting and analysing any and all public documents in Kenya.
which concern national practice in the application and interpretation of international humanitarian law, reasonably available covering the period from 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2017, including in particular (1) military manuals, regulations and instructions, (2) national legislation, (3) national case law, and (4) official statements made and reports presented by the highest level of government in an official forum (e.g. a government statement before Parliament).

The consultant will be paid a total of USD 2,000 for the work.
