    Area Coordinator (Project Based)

    Areas of Operation: Nairobi, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kisumu, Kakamega and Turkana

    In view of this, we seek to engage dedicated Area Coordinators for the CBDP program, you will be dedicated to providing administrative and logistical support to the project team at the County level

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring they are engaging, interactive, and impactful.
    • Give administrative support to the trainers and coaches to deliver the curriculum effectively across multiple counties.
    • Promote use of diverse teaching methods and tools to enhance learning outcomes and participant engagement.
    • Implement evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of the curriculum and training sessions.
    • Collect and analyze feedback from participants and trainers to identify areas for improvement.
    • Ensure Coaches provide guidance and mentorship to program participants, helping them apply what they learn to their business ideas. 
    • Liaison for venue and necessary equipment, materials, acquisition and set up
    • Foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment, encouraging peer-to-peer learning and networking.
    • Address individual trainer, coach or participant needs and challenges, offering tailored advice and support.
    • Work closely with the program management team to ensure the curriculum aligns with the overall program goals and objectives.
    • Engage with industry experts, mentors, and partners to enrich the curriculum and provide additional learning opportunities for participants.
    • Represent the program at events and forums, showcasing the curriculum and its impact on creative entrepreneurship.
    • Ensure quality service delivery by trainers and coaches.

     Required Specifications

    • At least a Diploma in business, entrepreneurship, economics, or a related field 
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in the creative sector, project management, administration, or related roles.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of the creative industries and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Kenya is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with project management tools and software.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be a resident of one of the six counties (indicate on the application the targeted County)
    • Passion for supporting entrepreneurs and driving economic development in Kenya.
