Assistant Engineer Electricals - 2 Posts at Migori County Public Service Board

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the effective rolling out of the integration energy of sustainable and renewable energy aspirations within the county.
• Conduct repairs for energy infrastructure within the county.
• Prepare field inspection reports and submit to the engineer.
• Prepare maintenance schedule for energy infrastructure within the county.
• Assist the energy engineer in the project design, specification and preparation of BQs.
• Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time by the energy engineer or county director of energy.

Requirement for Appointment

• Be a Kenyan citizen
• Be in possession of a diploma in electrical engineering.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an electrician.
• Experience in solar or wind energy will be desirable.
• Have a good conduct and management skills.
• Demonstrate ability to handle complex processes and information integration issues.
• Ability to remain effective under minimal supervision.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings.
• Be registered with Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) as an electrician.
