Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, commercial) to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data science projects.
• Design and implement data collection strategies to gather relevant information from various cloud-based sources.
• Clean, pre-process, and transform data to ensure its quality and usability for analysis.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models and statistical algorithms to solve specific business problems.
• Evaluate and interpret the results of data analysis, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Create compelling data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and cloud technologies.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure.
• May document findings, methodologies, and code for future reference and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or) Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical concepts.
• Experience with data wrangling, data cleaning, and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate complex data analysis into clear and concise insights for non-technical audiences.
