The 1979 Act established KEMRI as a National body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya.

Must have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Applied Sciences or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

The Institute WILL NOT offer employment after the completion of the program.
A monthly stipend of Ksh. 25,000.00 and a supplementary allowance of Ksh. 5,000 per month will be provided.
Interns will be expected to take up a personal accident cover and medical Insurance cover.
