Deliverable

• Data collection plan cleaned data set both primary and secondary) to contribute to the Audit report on energy and resources (water and materials) consumption in buildings and other sectors in Zimbabwe by climate zones including a list of recommendations. 
• Feasibility study to establish the best green building solutions Zimbabwe
• Develop a plan for the data collection.

• Support the International consultant on data analysis.
• Support the International consultant on formulation of key conclusion and recommendations.
• Support the International consultant on energy audit report writing.

• Green rating and Certification System for Zimbabwe Working closely with the International consultant on Energy efficiency and Green Building Council of Zimbabwe to define, The Consultant to:
• Development of the scope on the rating system
• Lead on literature review on rating system in view of the local Zimbabwean context factoring the country`s climatic zones and vernacular/traditional architectures.
• Lead on Data collection -primary and secondary if need be iv. Support on data analysis
• Support the International consultant on the development of building rating systems and certification adopted to Zimbabwe context on EDGE 
• Support the International consultant on writing the report on Green building rating and Certification system (certification protocol and compliance procedure) for Zimbabwe
• Expert Group Meeting on Green building rating and certification system
• Develop a concept note for an Expert group meeting on Green building rating and certification system
• Presentation of the Green rating and certification system to the expert group
• Collection of feedback and Support the International Consultant on incorporation in the developed green building rating and certification system
• Support the International consultant on finalizing of the report on the green building rating and certification system for Zimbabwe 
• Expert Group Meeting report Scope 
• Gap analysis on National building codes, building policies and regulations. The review of national building code, building policies and regulation with recommendations for the integration of energy and resource efficiency measures and retrofitting solutions for old buildings are conducted.
• Lead on Review of the national policy and regulations on buildings!
• Identify gaps on national building codes, building policies and regulations when it comes to integration of energy and resource efficiency measures and retrofitting solutions for old buildings.
• Develop a report and recommendations on the Sustainable national building policy & regulations.
• Presentation of the report to the Based on the on the findings of gap analysis report, present to the Environment parliamentary portfolio committee, engage with relevant govt ministries and agencies to develop key policy and regulations recommendations 

Qualifications/special skills

• A Master's degree or higher in environmental science, architecture, urban planning, energy efficiency, sustainable construction, sustainable development, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in green building solutions, energy and resource efficiency in the built environment and environmental sustainability.
