The Project
The University of Nairobi has received funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to support implementation of the Kenya Health Partnerships for Quality Services (HIV, FP/RMNCAH, Nutrition and WASH) in Nairobi and Kajiado Counties through the USAID Fahari Ya Jamii Project. The Project seeks to competitively fill the above named position.
Job description
The holder of this position will be responsible for direct service delivery, mentorship, capacitybuilding, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of care and treatment activities in a large multidisciplinary clinical setting.
Job specifications
The applicant should be a holder of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from a recognized university with at least three (3) years' post qualification experience in clinical HIV management and HIV prevention, care and treatment programming in the public sector or a large private sector setting;
OR
Bachelor of Clinical Medicine with five (5) years’ experience in HIV programming
Terms of appointment
This a position whose tenure is one (1) year contract renewable based on performance and by mutual consent. The salary is negotiable depending on the level of education and workexperience.
