Consultant: Child Protection Assessment at Terre des hommes (TDH)

Expected Outputs and Deliverables

The Assessment outcomes and findings will be presented to TdH NL. The reports to be delivered are as follow:

• One in-person/online meeting to discuss the final findings and recommendations, this will create a platform for the outcomes and outputs to be presented by the consultant followed by Q&A session.

One report per country assessed, focused on including all the following inputs:

• Past and recurring crises/ humanitarian context analysis with focus on CPIE. 
• Identification of the gaps in the humanitarian scene in the selected countries, both when it comes to needs that are not being sufficiently covered by actors on the ground, as well as areas that are underfunded by donors. With the gaps identified, the report should give an idea of where TdH should put efforts in.
• Identification of humanitarian activities that will not only cover immediate needs, but that will also serve as a foundation for achieving our long-term development goals, particularly in tackling child exploitation. Thus, linking humanitarian action with development.
• An analysis of our relationships with our humanitarian actors and donors, conducted at field level and facilitated by the Country Offices, and the steps to undertake to strengthen those connections.
