    ESOR Officer (Energy and Power)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ energy use, including analysing processes, equipment, and building systems.
    • Develop detailed Energy Saving Opportunity Reports (ESOR), identifying potential savings in areas such as low-hanging fruit, process and asset optimisation, and technological upgrades.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to clients, outlining cost-effective measures to improve energy efficiency.
    • Collaborate with clients to prioritise and implement recommended actions, ensuring alignment with their operational goals and sustainability objectives.
    • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in energy management and apply this knowledge to enhance the value of recommendations.
    • Present findings and strategies to clients, clearly communicating the benefits and potential impact of proposed changes.
    • Monitor the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and measure their effectiveness, adjusting strategies as necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
    • Must have at least 4 years of experience in energy management, with a strong track record of identifying and implementing energy-saving measures.
    • A professional certification in energy management (e.g., CEM, CMVP) is a plus.
    • In-depth knowledge of energy systems, technologies, and efficiency strategies.
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex data and provide actionable insights.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to
    • non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proficient in the use of energy management software and tools.
    • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
