    Head of Sales and Marketing

    Position Overview:

    As the Head of Marketing and Sales, you will spearhead the development and execution of strategic marketing and sales initiatives to enhance brand awareness, increase sales, and engage customers. Your role will involve overseeing our client’s key product areas, including kitchens, doors, wardrobes, and flooring, and leading a diverse team to achieve ambitious sales targets. This position demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in marketing and sales leadership, ideally within the manufacturing or wood products industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning: Design and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on consumer goods like kitchens, doors, wardrobes, and flooring.
    • Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and materials.
    • Market Research: Conduct research to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
    • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and events.
    • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing and sales team, fostering creativity and accountability.
    • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the marketing and sales budget for effective resource allocation.
    • Product Promotion: Develop strategies to promote existing and new products to various market segments.
    • Customer Engagement: Enhance customer experience through targeted marketing initiatives and loyalty programs.
    • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
    • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
    • Sales Closing: Lead high-level negotiations and close significant deals to drive company revenue.
    • Performance Analysis: Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing and sales activities to inform future strategies.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or a relevant advanced degree is preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in marketing and sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the manufacturing or consumer goods industry, particularly in kitchens, doors, wardrobes, and flooring, is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of marketing principles, brand management, sales strategies, and market research.
    • Other: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and sales CRM platforms.
