    Information Communication Technology Officer I

    INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER I, JOB GRADE CLE 7 - CLE/JOB018/2024 - (1) POSITION

    Job Specification

    The duties and responsibilities at this grade will entail assisting in:

    • Providing user support;
    • Monitoring ICT inventory;
    • Supervising installation, configuration and maintenance of ICT systems;
    • Installing, configuring and monitoring local area network components;
    • Supervising the setting up of computers and other ICT equipment;
    • Initiating ICT preventive maintenance activities.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

    Person Specifications

    • For appointment to this grade, an officer must have1. Bachelor Degree in: - Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Software Engineering qualification or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
    • Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience at Officer II or its equivalent;
    • Professional qualification in the relevant field and;
    • Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution

    • Communication skills;
    • Problem solving skills;
    • Interpersonal skills;
    • Team player and;
    • Proactive.
