Laboratory Technician at Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (Lewa)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Collecting specimens from patients for analysis.
• Conducting necessary analysis on specimens and providing results.
• Custody and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Ensure proper storage of reagents.
• Preparation of monthly and annual laboratory reports.
• Always ensuring cleanliness in the laboratory.

Qualifications

• A Certificate / Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences.
• Professional certification through registration by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians Board (KMLTTB).
• At least 2 years post-qualification experience in a busy healthcare setup.
• Computer literate and conversant with different automatic laboratory equipment.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of HIV/Aids management.
