Machine Learning Engineer at Touch Inspiration

Position Summary: 

• As a Machine Learning Engineer at Touch Inspiration, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing machine learning models that enhance our search engine's capabilities. This position involves significant work with our Node.js backend team to integrate AI-driven features and ensure that our applications deliver contextual and culturally relevant search results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models tailored to natural language processing and search query optimization.
• Collaborate extensively with the Node.js backend team to integrate AI models seamlessly with the existing server infrastructure.
• Utilize OpenAI’s API and other AI technologies to enhance query understanding and search functionalities.
• Test, refine, and optimize ML models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and performance.
• Work with data scientists to manage datasets, including data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain scalable and efficient machine learning code, and contribute to team knowledge sharing, using Node.js as the primary development environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• Proficient in Node.js, with strong experience in developing backend services and API integrations.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Demonstrated experience with natural language processing (NLP) and the application of machine learning in search technologies.
• Solid understanding of Node.js backend development practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team to integrate AI capabilities into complex software systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with OpenAI API or similar AI platforms.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (such as React or Angular) for potential collaboration with frontend developers.
