Procurement Manager at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Responsibilities

• Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Oversee process of requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures
• Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
• Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
• Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers.
• Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
• Administer on-line purchasing systems
• Supervise storeroom/stocks management function
• Conducts market studies and surveys trends.
• Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
• Handle group procurement expansion and logistics’ coordination

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor’s degree.
• 8 years proven working experience as a Procurement Manager
• Hospitality experience
• MC experience preferable
• Centralised sourcing practices and logistics coordination
• Excellent Communication and leadership skills
