An internship is a short-term work experience offered by Plan International Kenya for newly graduated students to get some entry-level exposure to a particular industry or field. It is as much of a learning experience as it is work. Ideally, interns will spend their time working on relevant projects, learning about the field, making industry connections, and developing both technical and soft skills. An intern gets a chance to work side by side with accomplished industry professionals to understand and experience what an entry-level role might entail. Interns are expected not only to gain practical work experience but also to meet and learn from professionals as they start building their own network, from fellow interns to seasoned leaders. The internship program will run for a maximum period of 12 months, effective 1st November 2022. The intern will be based in the Nairobi office.
