    Project Lead

    Job Purpose:

    Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Project Lead is responsible for handling the Bank’s ongoing and new projects as well as oversee all aspects of a
    project to ensure the quality is of high standard, and that it is running to the timescales allowed. The job incumbent will strategically manage risks, monitor
    finances and ensure each phase of work is started or completed on time.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with relevant stakeholders, assess projects feasibility, define project scope and objectives Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress
    • Meet and liaise with all relevant stakeholders to build strong working relationships and to report on project progress
    • Manage and facilitate flow of essential information among team members
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the different aspects of projects
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Devise cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion
    • Manage risks to minimize potential risks, avoid delays and/or reputational damage
    • Ensure all regulatory guidelines are complied with at all times
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, project costs and inform on a timely basis all the relevant committees
    • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
    • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
    • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
    • Perform any other related duties as may be required

    Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

    • University graduate in the field of economics, information technology, statistics and/or other relevant areas
    • Post graduate degree or progress towards a professional qualification will be an advantage
    • 8 years of experience in the field of Project Management, Consulting and Business Development, and/or any other relevant field relevant to banking operation
    • Experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement
    • Strong analytical skills with business mindset
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and networking abilities across various levels
    • Sound knowledge of domestic and global economy and business environment
    • Critical understanding of competitors’ products, services, initiatives and impact on lines of business
    • Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
    • Strong teamwork and collaboration
