DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Duties

• Logs on the Logis system to register for attendance as per set standard operating procedures.
• Checks tasks for delivery and collections that needs to be done on daily basis as per set standard operating procedures.
• Pre-set and arrange reports received from the transport controller and printer set up in their department according to routes to avoid time wasting and maximize efficient service delivery.

Courier Delivery

• Conducts delivery/ collection of specimens from/to outlaying laboratories, doctors and clients allocated areas as per set standard operating procedures and makes a maximum of three stops to each client in a day.
• Delivers envelopes, samples and money to the relevant departments and laboratories to ensure satisfactory customer service.
• Completes and signs proof of delivery for every specimen or reports collected or delivered to the relevant hospital, depot and doctor.
• Collects sharp containers as and when required to.
• Collects urgent specimens from the doctors on request as per set standard operating procedures.

Customer Services

• Is responsible for obtaining new customers/clients along a delivery route.
• Submits written reports to the transport controller daily and any other information vital to the organization and relates to business.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma in the Medical field.
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 5 years’ experience in medical knowledge, preferably Lab environment/Phlebotomy.
• Computer literate
• Laboratory information systems
• Standard working process and procedures
• Knowledge of geographical areas and driving skills are essential
• Motor vehicle maintenance skills
