Quality Assurance Manager at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Requirements:

• Lead the quality team and provide leadership in the implementation of GPL Quality and Food safety management programs.
• Evaluate operational policies and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate continual improvement.
• Develop and implement all quality assurance and food safety related plans.
• Ensure outsourced services providers have valid contracts.
• Initiate and provide guidance and ensure compliance with the certifications by relevant bodies such as KEBS, Kenya Dairy Boards, UNBS, TFDA, Halal
• Generate and update the Lab Manual.
• Co-ordinate and oversee all internal and external food safety and quality audits.
• Participate in product development and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements, standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in food science or dairy science or any other relevant Degree.
• Minimum 6 years working experience in quality management in FMCG at managerial level.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC & other food management systems.
• Must possess ISO 22000 or 9001 lead auditors Certificate.
