    Restaurant Supervisor

    Our client a group of clubs and rstuarants is looking for Restaurant Suprvisors to join their team.

    A Restaurant Supervisor plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of a restaurant, ensuring that the establishment runs smoothly and that guests receive excellent service. 

    Job Description:

    • Oversee and coordinate the work of restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to maintain high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure exceptional customer service by interacting with guests, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
    • Handle escalated customer issues and find effective resolutions.
    • Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
    • Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and performance.
    • Oversee the ordering of food and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Monitor and control food costs and waste.
    • Train new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
    • Provide ongoing training to enhance staff skills and performance.
    • Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
    • Assist and guide staff in explaining menu items to guests.
    • Conduct regular meetings to discuss updates, goals, and areas for improvement.
    • Encourage upselling and suggestive selling techniques to maximize revenue.
    • Implement promotions and upselling strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and restaurant policies.
    • Conduct regular safety meetings and drills.

    Qualifications:

    • Atleast 2 years experience in a similar role
    • Diploma in Hospitality Management will be an added advantage
    • Previous supervisory or management experience in the restaurant industry is often required.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and basic computer skills.
