    Accountant

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensuring financial transactions are properly recorded and accurately entered into the accounting systems
    • Ensuring compliance with government and corporate policies laws and regulations
    • Prepares monthly reports
    • Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and hotel procedures
    • Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
    • Undertake cash and bank reconciliations
    • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and document business transactions.
    • Take responsibility for daily stock takes, spot checks, reconciliation and timely of daily sales reports against expenses.
    • Responsible for verification of income, receivables & debtors reconciliation
    • Prepares monthly revenue and cost center reports
    • Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
    • Analyze transactions, processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved.
    • Apply cost accounting methods to achieve efficient representation of cost center performance.
    • Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
    • Responsible for all statutory obligations i.e. paye, nssf, nhif, catering levy, corporate tax e.t.c.
    • Responsible for payroll preparation
    • Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets
    • Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information.

    Job Qualifications

    • Degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA-K
    • MUST have a minimum of 2 -4 years’ experience as an accountant in a hotel or restaurant
    • Proficiency in any hotel operating and accounting system and Microsoft office and email applications
    • Must be candidate of unquestionable integrity
    • Should also be dynamic and a team player
    • Excellent analytical skills and hotel controls
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurized environment
    • Team leader with excellent organizational skills

    Production Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Actualize daily, weekly & monthly production goals by tracking results, providing frequent feedback, and taking corrective actions as appropriate.
    • Plan, Coordinate and execute production processes using available resources to meet target
    • Demand and quality targets.
    • Create unity of purpose by ensuring manufacturing processes, resources and manpower are solely for the gain of employer thereby mitigating conflict of interest.
    • Responsible to adhering to operations budget, costs and losses through forecasting, tracking and reporting.
    • Implement business development plans including identification and submission of capital and extraordinary maintenance projects to improve facility operations.
    • Continuously update, management on frequent basis on the manufacturing site progress & arising issues.
      Carry electrical troubleshooting and repair roles

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering related field and/or related operations experience
    • 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing & production supervisory
    • Demonstrated leadership skills in a manufacturing environment
    • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Quality Control Assistant

    Responsibilities

    • Embrace a “team” working environment focused on achieving department goals by demonstrating willingness to accept assignments not specifically listed in the job description as allowed by the limitations of training, experience, and/or education.
    • Adhere to safety rules and awareness, demonstrate good safety practices at all times. Take initiative to report and correct safety hazards. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) associated with assigned tasks.
    • Demonstrate and promote the values of accountability, communication, customer commitment, entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, safety and teamwork.
    • Execute against project plans and goals as assigned by Quality Management.
    • Meet productivity, quality and teamwork metrics for the level.
    • Perform all assigned tasks according to applicable internal written procedures.
    • Follow strict good documentation practices in line with company SOPs and cGMP regulation.
    • Actively complete assigned training activities and document training within assigned time frames.
    • Function as a subject matter expert within the analytical laboratory and provide support at all times.
    •  Monitor laboratory resources, identify/report resource gaps, and assist in recruiting, screening, procuring, and/or qualifying needed resources.
    • Maintain utmost level of confidentiality at all times
    • Write, revise, review, and implement technical documentation including protocols, reports; reference standard qualification reports; analytical test procedures; and change controls.
    • Review analytical testing records/logbooks for compliance with cGMPs, compendial requirements, and procedures/protocols.
    • Review and/or write technical reports, procedures, investigations and protocols.
    • Provide problem solving skills to support the resolution and documentation of investigations for laboratory and manufacturing issues.
    • Draw conclusions from data and communicate those conclusions is writing.
    • Determine root causes of non-conformance and recommend corrective action and ensure timely closure of investigations.
    • Document, develop and apply strategies to ensure achievement of analytical objectives by monitoring/ evaluating the completion of tasks.
    • Establish policies, procedures, and practices associated with laboratory activities including safety, testing, scheduling and documentation.
    • Maintain and improve GMP compliance and documentation.
    • Schedule laboratory testing and associated activities to minimize operational disruptions to departments.
    • Perform annual review of data generated by the Quality Control Laboratory and generate data, figures and trends.
    • Perform internal audits of Quality Control systems.
    • Perform external audits of vendors with respect to cGMP’s.
    • Determine and maintain laboratory budget.

    Qualifications

    • 3-4 Years working in a chemical manufacturing set up. Working familiarity with Good Manufacturing
    • Practice a must.
    • Experience in manufacturing of liquid bleach and analysis.
