Job Purpose Statement

• Accountable for facilitating achievement of the department’s goals by ensuring that a cost effective high quality service is provided to our customers by effectively controlling tasks within the operations section.
• Responsible for actual accurate settlements of cash, securities (Equities, Private Equity, Property, Offshore Investments, Derivatives, Fixed Income and Money Market instruments) while ensuring that all transactions are settled in convention with the market rules, directives and procedures.
• Deal with Clients, Fund Managers and Administrators telephonically, via SWIFT and email ensuring all transactions are settled according to SLA’s and relevant systems are updated.

Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:

• A Business related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Basic I.T & Accounting Qualification

Professional qualifications would be an added advantage:

• CMA Securities Industry Certification (CISI).
• CPA OR CFA

Job Purpose Statement

• The SAP Analyst (BASIS) –will install, configure, and maintain SAP programs. Work with business and SAP functional users to understand the data used to generate the businesses KPIs and metrics as well as the workflows used for their delivery. Continuously review the best technologies to deliver the solution and help drive adoption through system upgrade on SAP, technical implementations, communication and training to super users. Support technical implementation and upgrades on sap ecc6 , success factors and sap hana.

Ideal Person Specifications
Academic qualifications:

•  An undergraduate degree or its equivalent in a Technology related field i.e. Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software engineering, IT.
•  Working Knowledge of Windows or UNIX or Linux Operating systems.

Professional training:

•  Should have strong hands-on knowledge in SAP HANA technologies, SAP PI/PO , SAP ECC6
•  SAP Certification in BASIS and relevant Functional areas e.g. MM, FICO, HCM, TRAVEL,
•  Knowledge in SAP HANA and SAP Success factors is added advantage.
•  Knowledge of using Solution Manager for change management is an added advantage.
•  ITIL Intermediate and other relevant professional qualifications in ICT field would be an added advantage.

Desired work experience:

•  Three years’ experience in SAP Basis in medium to large organizations.
•  Working experience in a bank or other financial services organization will be an added advantage.

Job Purpose Statement

• This role is responsible for the operations that facilitate the stable operation of the bank’s core systems around Treasury, NCBA Investment bank, NCBA insurance, custodial services, finance reconciliation, Trade finance and related system Operations.
• This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing systems Operations in collaboration with external vendors, system experts and information security experts.
• This role will be responsible for systems support on Credit systems, Trade services systems, Treasury systems, NCBA Banc Assurance, NCBA Investment bank, Custodial services and all financial systems.
• The systems include, IPEN, Credit-quest, Kollectpro, CRB, T24, SSP and ARCIB amongst others.
• Custody plus, Intellimatch, Broker back office, Wealth management, Calypso Front to back implementation, and other related systems (Reuters, DTS, Bloomberg, and ALM Reporting) for the entire NCBA Group.
• The role also includes support for projects and changes carried out on any of these appliances and provision of effective and efficient user support, production management, incident management, change management, project management, patch management and application administration
• The Bank Applications Specialist will schedule and direct activities to resolve the banking software and service problems in a timely and accurate fashion as per set out SLA and is in charge of the full Life Cycle of all the applications that fall within this area.

•  Undergraduate degree in Computer Science /Information
•  Minimum 5 years working experience in a busy IT or Project Office environment within a financial institution.
•  Understanding and experience in supporting Treasury Front / Back and Middle office operations.
•  Good knowledge of Credit systems, Trade services systems, Treasury systems, NCBA Bancassurance, NCBA Investment bank, Custodial services.
•  Experience with IPEN, Intellimatch and Credit Quest is a plus
•  Extensive experience in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis.
•  Hands on Experience on Web Application Management on Jboss
•  Good working knowledge on Treasury Applications. Experience on Calypso is preferred.
•  Knowledge relating to treasury products and GL management is desirable

Job Purpose Statement

• This role will be responsible for systems support on IBPS, NOBS, NLS systems, and Credit Quest. The preferred candidate will also act as a business analyst for IBPS, NLS, NOBS and Credit Quest Systems delivery and a relationship manager to the Related System users and ensuring Service Level agreements of uptime and performance are attained and maintained at all times. This includes support for projects and changes carried out on any of these applications

• The Senior, Database Administrator role is to support the bank’s databases and database infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas; particularly NCBA group databases, database storage, database server operating systems and database backups in collaboration with external vendors, system experts and consultants.

Academic:

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Professional:
