    Branch Manager - Kisumu

    Role Summary:

    The Branch Manager bears the responsibility of the branch, its employees, reputation and portfolio. Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the branch, achievement of branch targets, while maintaining focus on the company's strategic goals, and maintains a healthy relationship with staff, clients, government bodies and market leaders.

    Qualifications:

    • The incumbent must be Holder of bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent from a recognized university.
    • Minimum of 5 years Branch Management experience in a Financial institution.

    Head of Collections

    Direct Reports: Collections and Recovery Managers Indirect Reports: Collections and Recovery Officers

    Key Responsibilities

    •  Reduction in the Non-Performing Loan book as per the set targets. Manage the entire products' portfolio to minimize losses.
    •  Evaluate the debt collection cycle and track all arrears.
    •  Timely and effective implementation of the collections matrix
    •  Prepare reports for all units and follow up to facilitate full repayment.
    • Champion the collections policy and prepare requisite reports.

    Qualifications

    •  A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
    •  5 years' experience in debt recovery and credit management.
    •  Certification in Credit Management and Debt recovery.
    •  Experience in the Microfinance industry preferred.

    Finance Manager

    Role Summary:

    As the Finance Manager the purpose of this role is to manage and secure the company's financial assets, including funds to ensure what is disbursed is collected. You will assess and report the financial performa- nce of the business. The ultimate goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term financial objectives.

    Qualifications:

    •  The incumbent must be a Holder of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines.
    •  Masters Degree in Business Administration Finance Option will be an added advantage.
    •  Professional qualifications from either CPA-K or ACCA.
    •  Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in a finance role, 3 of which MUST be at Management level and leadership responsibilities.
    •  A certified Member of ICPAK.
    •  Experience in Microfinance is a MUST.
    •  5 Years of proven experience in Collections
    •  Computer literacy and proficiency.

    Disired Skills:

    • Familiarity with microfinance principles, methodologies, and regulatory frameworks specific to the industry. Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
    •  Strategic Financial Planning; Problem-solving skills.
    •  Financial Knowledge Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles is essential.
    •  Analytical Skills Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Strong interpersonal, management, and demonstrable leadership skills.

    Chief Finance Officer

    As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) you will have the primary responsibility for overseeing the portfolio's quality, collections of arrears, and timely disbursements.

    Qualifications:

    •  The incumbent Must be a Holder of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines.
    •  A Master's Degree in Business Administration Finance Option will be an added advantage.

    •  Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a finance role, 5 of which MUST be at Management level and leadership responsibilities.
    •  A Certified Member of ICPAK

    •  Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a marketing role, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
