    Cook

    About the role:

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Company Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving meals for our employees, ensuring high quality and consistency. The Company Cook will also maintain a clean and organized kitchen, follow food safety guidelines, and support various kitchen operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and serve morning tea by 9:30 AM.
    • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for all employees..
    • Ensure that all food is of high quality and meets our standards.
    • Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency.
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including daily cleaning of fridges and microwaves.
    • Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to management.
    • Monitor inventory levels of supplies and inform the Office Manager when replenishment is needed.
    • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared and served in a timely manner.
    • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes.
    • Prepare coffee, other beverages, and snacks on special requests for guests as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a cook or chef in a similar role.
    • A certificate in catering or equivalent qualification preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
    • Ability to follow recipes and cooking techniques accurately.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
    • Experience in corporate or institutional food service is a plus.
    • First Aid and Food Safety certification is a plus.

    Sales Representative - Partnerships Nyanza Region

    About Role 

    Reporting to the Business Development Associate, the Sales Representative - Partnerships is primarily responsible for coordinating sales activities across partner outlets and any other partnership roles assigned to him/her. The role is field-based and requires proper planning within the assigned region. The successful candidate should be keen on working in a thriving social impact business focused on small-scale farmers to transform livelihoods.  

    Responsibilities

    • Work as part of a team, towards achieving the set customer leads and sales targets allocated within the assigned partner outlets
    • Report to the assigned outlet, ensure that our products are in proper working condition and pitch SunCulture products to customers visiting the outlets
    • Monitor and push for sales closures by the partners per the set sales targets.
    • Establish a rapport with partners and clients to ensure that they understand SunCulture products and act as a SunCulture brand ambassador 
    • Collaborate with partners in field activities including but not limited to farmer events like ASK shows, market storms, door-to-door visits, and road shows to promote SunCulture products and services 
    • Work closely with the Business Development team to facilitate weekly check-ins with our partner to ensure seamless partnership operations 
    • Support the sales cycle process for acquired customers by ensuring that timely dispatch and installation is done.
    • Contribute to enhancing customer experience for SunCulture’s customers by promptly reporting arising after-sales issues to ensure service and brand strength.
    • Training partners on SunCulture products

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of a diploma in a relevant field. A degree is an added advantage.
    • Proven experience in a sales role in the energy sector
    • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota
    • Strong leadership abilities and outstanding interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think and plan strategically, plan, manage, and act to achieve set outcomes.
    • Ability to work under high pressure and meet set targets
    • Independent thinker with proactive decision-making capabilities
    • Experience working in a dynamic environment

    Evergreen Requisition- Regional Sales Manager (Multiple Locations)

    About Role 

    Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager has the primary responsibility for managing all sales activities within a defined geographical region. The role is field-based and requires proper planning within the assigned region and is suitable for an individual who is passionate about sales and people management. The successful candidate should be keen on working in a thriving tech-driven and innovative social impact business focused on small-scale farmers with an aim of transforming business.  

    Responsibilities

    • Active participation in the setting of the sales targets and ensuring all Sales Team Leads get clear communication on the target.
    • Conducts daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reviews to ensure team performance delivery while offering support in the field and remotely.
    • Own the regional sales targets and work on 100% achievement of the set targets through the team by ensuring the sales team leads are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skill to enable them to deliver results.
    • Have a good understanding of the territory and ensure proper agent distribution in the region, while solving all issues faced by the sales agents and ensuring the STLs and Sales agents clearly understand their commission structures and retrain periodically.
    • Spearheaded joint fieldwork with Sales Team Leads and Sales agents alongside weekly training to drive agent recruitment. Ensure the scheduled work plan from the Sales Team Leads are well executed by handling weekly work reviews and planning to review.
    • Building the business in the region through networking with other businesses for partnership opportunities and building relationships.
    • Ensure their Sales Team Leads follow the set recruitment process and achieve target month on month with the key set competencies from SunCulture.
    • Analyzing competitor activities in the region and assessing opportunities for business development.
    • Managing the Sales Team Leads and ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to deliver on their roles
    • Attending relevant industry events and conferences to build the business and generate leads.
    • Ensuring team activities are in line with the sales strategy.

    Does this sound like you?

    • A Bachelor Degree in Sales and Marketing or other related fields.
    • At least 2-4 years experience in a leadership role and managing teams.
    • Ability to speak the local language and willingness to visit farms and do door-to-door sales as the role requires close engagement with farmers.
    • Excellent communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
    • Work experience in direct sales target-driven business and good with group presentation and selling.
    • Experience managing a team and passion for mentoring and coaching.
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and experience working in a dynamic environment.  
    • Detail-oriented, delivery-focused, and willing to learn.
    • Experience in solar/ off-grid pump systems would be an advantage.
    • Experience developing new territories.
