    Corporate Strategy Officer

    Job Summary

    The Corporate Strategy Officer provides leading support in strategy development and articulation, operational and market analyses as well as briefs aligned to TDB Group's strategy. The position holder develops and maintains detailed research on markets developments, macroeconomic and sector trends as well as prepares up-to-date reports on the Group's strategic priorities.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

    • Participate in the development of strategic updates, reviews and briefs.
    • Engage across Group functions to enhance the achievement of the Group's strategic priorities.
    • Provide analysis to ensure the Group's effective and optimal use of resources and capital to drive revenue, profit and impact.
    • Work as assigned on Lean Six Sigma projects and initiatives.
    • Conduct macro-economic analysis using data sourced from reputable global databases.
    • Perform internal data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
    • Complete ad-hoc reporting and continual process improvement to increase efficiencies across the Group.
    • Prepare up-to-date reports giving insight into TDB Group markets and key sectors.
    • Prepare proposals and presentations for the strategy function.
    • Support various operation-related projects and initiatives in the department.

    Qualifications and Competencies

    • A Master's degree in Development Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce or related field, with relevant qualification such as Strategic Planning Professional, CFA, Economic Development Finance Professional or equivalent as added advantage.
    • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a professional services firm, investment bank and/or cross border commercial lending environment.
    • Robust analytical and quantitative orientation with financial modelling and conceptual skills encompassing finance, investment, risk management and corporate finance.
    • Excellent problem solving, negotiation, organizational and planning skills.
    • Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment, manage dynamic priorities, strong professional independence, unquestionable integrity and able to work under pressure to deliver on strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
    • A results-orientation with excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Fluency in English is a requirement. Bilingual fluency in English and French is an added advantage.

    Senior Information Technology Project Management Officer

    Job Summary

    • Reporting to the Head, Information Services and to relevant governance organs, the Senior IT Project Management Officer, would be responsible for the management of Information Technology (and Automation) projects and initiatives across TDB Group.
    • The position holder will be tasked with ensuring that IT-related projects are effectively implemented with due regard to time, budget and quality aspects, amongst others.

    Qualifications and Competencies

    • A Master's degree in Information/Business Technology, Computer Science or related field from a recognized institution.
    • Relevant Professional Qualifications such as SAP Certifications, Project Management certification e.g. PMI, is an added advantage.
    • Proven track record in the day-to-day management of IT-related projects, specifically business system (applications/software) implementations, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience; 5 or more SAP ERP implementation experience is an added advantage.
    • Hands on experience in multiple implementations and/or migration projects of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA with knowledge of various modules including Financial & Control Accounting, Procurement, Treasury, General Loans/Banking, Complex Loans Management (Syndications, Forfaiting, Discounting, etc.), and Treasury Management.
    • Demonstration of a comprehensive understanding and application of project management governance standards within the Information Technology/Business Software domain.
    • Key competencies required for the role include: (i) methodical and disciplined approach to project management and problem solving; (ii) strong presentation and organizational skills; and (iii) ability to work in a multi-cultural setting.
