    Human Resources Operations - Team Lead

    Job Purpose:

    • As the HR Operations Team Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day management of HR contracts and documents, while also providing leadership and guidance to the HR Operations team.

    Senior Associate - Internal Audit

    Job Summary

    • The Senior Associate -Audit will join us in our Legal, Audit, Risk, and Compliance (LARC) team and will conduct periodical audit reviews of processes, systems, and procedures.

    Android Engineer

    Collaboration

    • As an engineer, you will work with a cross-functional team of android, backend engineers, product managers and testers to design, develop, and maintain M-KOPA’s Customer apps, and deliver software that scales with both company and customer growth.
    • Additionally, you would be working on a variety of aspects that include deep diving user journeys using data and implementing focused updates to address our customer’s needs; and collaborating with fellow Android engineers to improve application quality and raise coding standards.

    Tech Stack

    • Our teams work in a self-organized agile fashion where they keep track of their work in Azure DevOps, which we also use for our CI/CD, Kotlin for our Android apps and .NET for our backend. Our cloud provider is Azure, where our microservices are hosted in Azure Kubernetes Services, and we implement Android applications following clean architecture principles, unidirectional data flow and jetpack compose.

    You will be based in Nairobi or be able to travel there frequently and will report to Managing Director of M-KOPA Mobility.

    • Know all things electric mobility - from battery supply chains to battery management system AI algorithms to future price curves to electric charger types to manufacturing assembly tax benefits

    Senior Embedded Software Engineer

    • First and foremost, we are looking for someone who is excited about accelerating electric mobility in Africa. Specifically, someone that has firsthand knowledge and personal involvement working on embedded software at the intersection of the electric mobility and IoT spaces would be a great fit.
