• The position is responsible for standard installations and service calls which includes:-Wireless broadband equipment installation (antenna, cabling, power source, network jack.)
• Customer troubleshooting and repair (driving to and from service calls, on-site configuring of radio equipment)
• Tower climbing and rescue.
• Base station troubleshooting and repair.
• Cabling and cabinet organization.
• Weekly inventory management and reporting.

Requirements/Skills/Knowledge:

• 1 to 2 years experience in rooftop antenna installations.
• Computer literacy.
• Basic understanding of TCPIP, crimping, cable management & structured cabling.
• Tower experience preferred and capable of working in hieghts.
• Basic construction knowledge and able to work with power tool.

• Good physical condition (able to carry 20kgs.)

• The Network Engineer Interns will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and support of computer communication networks of WaveX ISP.
• The Intern will be responsible for ensuring the proper flow and operation of communication networks to thus ensure more optimal performance and availability for users.
• The working area of the network engineer interns could be in the IT support team/NOC or radio installation team.

Typical Tasks Usually Include:-

• Ensure stable and reliable ISP network services (e.g. access products, service networks and core network).
• Day-to-day network performance monitoring.
• Network troubleshooting and fault analysis; hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Trouble ticket generation and response; carrier interface and escalations.
• Deployment and maintenance of network monitoring, analysis and reporting tools.
• Application of configuration changes via our change control systems and processes
• Installation of network hardware and software.
• Participate in a 24×7 call-out rota.

Eligibility:

• WaveX ISP is seeking a skilled Fiber Splicing Engineer specializing in Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and Fiber to the Building (FTTB) deployments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, splicing, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables, ensuring the highest quality of service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Fiber Splicing and Installation:

• Perform fiber optic splicing for FTTH and FTTB projects, including single-mode and multi-mode fibers.
• Install and terminate fiber optic cables in both residential and commercial environments.
• Conduct fusion splicing and mechanical splicing as required.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of fiber connections.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

• Conduct testing of fiber optic cables using OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer), power meters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Identify and repair fiber faults, splicing errors, and signal losses.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and upgrades on existing fiber infrastructure.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all splicing and installation work meets industry standards and WaveX ISP’s quality requirements.
• Document and report on all splicing activities, maintaining accurate records of fiber paths, splices, and terminations.

Project Management:

• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of FTTH/FTTB projects.
• Assist in planning and designing fiber layouts and splicing schedules.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as necessary

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working on-site.
• Ensure that all work is performed with minimal disruption to customers and complies with local regulations.
