    Digital Health Analyst

    As a Digital Health Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare by analyzing data, trends, and user behavior to drive insights that improve our digital health solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate healthcare outcomes, optimize system performance, and provide data-driven insights to enhance both internal processes and customer-facing solutions.

    This role emphasizes developing and implementing standardized data exchange protocols, with a particular focus on integrating e-claims systems and addressing priority areas identified by the Ministry of Health and the Kenya Digital Health Agency. Additionally, you will enhance the national health data ecosystem by developing county-level data lakes that feed into a centralized data warehouse. This includes adhering to the Data Protection Act 2019 and aligning all efforts with Kenya’s digital health strategies.

    Your ability to combine healthcare knowledge with strong analytical skills will be vital in driving innovations and ensuring that our digital health solutions meet the highest standards of efficacy and efficiency.     Key Responsibilities

    • Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights.
    • Support the development, testing, and deployment of digital health solutions by analyzing trends, user data, and performance metrics.
    • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and clinicians to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the success of healthcare technology projects.
    • Identify areas of improvement in healthcare processes and workflows through data analysis and provide recommendations for optimizing system performance.
    • Generate detailed reports and dashboards that communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Monitor healthcare industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements to ensure that our products stay compliant and competitive.
    • Support user research efforts, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups, to gather feedback on digital health tools and platforms.
    • Assist in the design and implementation of data models that support healthcare analytics and decision-making processes.
    • Stay informed of new tools and methodologies in data analytics, health informatics, and healthcare technology, bringing relevant innovations to the team.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
    • Proven experience in data analysis, with a focus on healthcare, digital health, or technology solutions.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, workflows, and the challenges faced by healthcare providers.
    • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
    • Experience working with health data standards, including HL7, FHIR, and ICD-10, is a plus.
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and the ethics of health data usage.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets to generate clear and actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into non-technical language.
    • Analytical mindset with a passion for improving healthcare outcomes through data-driven approaches.
    • Experience in the East African health sector or with e-Health solutions is highly desirable.

    Digital Health Community Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage various digital health communities within Kenya
    • Manage and moderate online community platforms (e.g., forums, social media, webinars) and facilitate meaningful conversations.
    • Organize and host virtual and in-person events, workshops, and meetups to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange within the community.
    • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure that community feedback is incorporated into product development and company strategy.
    • Create, curate, and distribute content (blog posts, newsletters, case studies, etc.) relevant to the digital health community.
    • Collaborate with partners, influencers, and thought leaders to expand the organization and its client's reach within the digital health space.
    • Establish a private sector engagement framework.
    • Conduct stakeholder mapping and engagement to identify key players in the digital health ecosystem.
    • Launch and expand collaborative projects to foster innovation and partnerships.
    • Evaluate and institutionalize successful collaborations for long-term impact.
    • Monitor and report on community performance and engagement metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
    • Support customers and stakeholders in implementing digital health solutions by providing relevant resources, training, and support.
    • Stay up-to-date with trends and innovations in digital health, community management, and online engagement strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Communications, Information Technology, or a related discipline).
    • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
    • Proven experience in community management, digital marketing, or customer engagement, ideally within the health or technology sectors.
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
    • Knowledge of digital health, e-Health solutions, or healthcare systems is a plus.
    • Experience in organizing and hosting events, both virtual and in-person.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms, online community tools, and content management systems.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with community members.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Analytical mindset with experience tracking and reporting on community engagement metrics.
    • Passion for improving healthcare through technology and a commitment to community development.
