    ISO Coordinator

    Qualifications

    • Technical/Science based Degree, or equivalent qualification.
    • Certificate in ISO based management systems as a lead auditor.
    • Membership with relevant professional bodies.
    • 5 years’ work experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in management systems.

    Job role

    Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Co-ordinates Quality Management System (ISO 9001) activities as per the Standard’s requirements.
    • Co-ordinates Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) activities as per the Standard’s requirements. 
    • Co-ordinates Occupational Safety & Health Management System (ISO 45001) activities as per the Standard’s requirements.
    • Supervises establishment and maintenance of updated performance database for quality, OHS and environment objectives based on the Integrated Management System.
    • Leads process improvement teams in terms of operational efficiency.
    • Manages the IMS Maintenance schedule. This includes planning and facilitating system audits and closure of NCs.
    • Ensures training and skill enhancement for ISO Auditors throughout the company.

    Operational Responsibilities / Tasks

    • Initiates, plans, implements, and reviews process improvement projects.
    • Analyzes statistical database, identifies trends, and determines variations from set targets and benchmarks for the purposes of decision making.
    • Prepares monthly reports on Company's corporate performance including realization of corporate targets.
    • Liaises with certification bodies on acquisition and maintenance of management system certifications.

     Job Dimensions:

    Financial Responsibility

    • Prepares sections budget proposals to feed into the departmental budget.
    • Implements & monitors usage of approved section budget.

    Responsibility for Physical Assets

    • Computer (laptop and a tablet), a mobile phone and a desk phone

    Decision Making / Job Influence

    • Makes decisions on deserving allowances from time to time for reports and other staff.

    Working Conditions

    • Predominantly in the Kabati Plant office with occasional field work.

    Qualifications

    • Valid BCE Driving License.
    • 2 years’ experience driving in corporate setup.
    • Sales/Marketing experience is an added advantage.
    • Good command in spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
    • Certificate of good conduct (Mandatory)
    • Basic computer literacy.

    Job role

    • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with existing customers.
    • Timely delivery of products to the customers in the assigned route without delays.
    • Maintain record of the current and prospective customers to ensure the expansion of sales in the area and to command the market.
    • Carefully drive the asset/truck to the market for sales purposes and take full charge of the asset assigned.
    • Maintaining sales and delivery records, as well as meeting sales targets as assigned by the supervisor.
    • Offer optimum customer service to the current customers and ensure best retention and expansion of sales growth in the assigned route.
    • Where necessary, reports any market threats that requires supervisors’ assistance from time to time.
    • Performs basic assert maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, gas and oil levels, insurance, mirror, and lighting system and reports any damage/breakdown ASAP.
    • Ensure quick resolution of customer problems and complaints to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
    • Give accurate feedbacks on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential aspects to improve sales within the assigned region and resolve market issues for customer satisfaction.
    • Scan and upload sales every cylinder sold on real time.
    • Ensure door to door deliver of the products to the customers.
    • Achieve agreed sales targets as set by the department.
    • Any other duty as will be assigned by immediate supervisor.
