    Deployment Technician - Mombasa

    Your Role

    As a Deployment Technician, you will be responsible for delivery, installation, calibration, and commissioning of network hardware including KOKO Point units in retail outlets across Mombasa and surrounding neighborhoods.

    What You Will Do

    • Carry out retail outlet inspections (acceptance testing), network hardware installations and test protocols, calibration and commissioning
    • Ensure all deployed network hardware conform to respective quality and regulatory requirements
    • Strong collaboration with Maintenance and Quality departments within Network Operations to optimize and maximize resources
    • Document and own activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and records using provided tools.
    • Ensure good work management of provided work orders, instructions and schedules to meet daily targets and maintain high quality outputs
    • Continuously identify needs for improvement by conveying it to line manager and/or engineering team to maintain high quality work standards
    • Maintain assigned tools and equipment in good operating condition by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining supply levels and performing regular maintenance
    • Respond to operational tickets escalated to the department and ensure closure per OLAs. Collaborate with engineering team and share information across on test results and make adjustments where required through provided communication channels and tools
    • Maintain customer satisfaction through professional conduct and engagements
    • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management System requirements

    What You Will Bring to KOKO

    • A Diploma/Higher Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or a related discipline
    • Minimum 1 year field operations experience of installations and commissioning machines
    • Lab and workshop skills - eg soldering, wiring, drilling etc
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills A team player able to work effectively with others and independently with minimal supervision.
    • Appreciation of ISO 45001:2018 and other related safety standards

    Agent Expansion Manager - Mombasa

    Your Role

    As Agent Expansion Manager, you will help KOKO expand its robust retail network by recruiting and onboarding Agents and ensuring successful set up of their KOKO Point business. Your key responsibilities will include business development, process management, relationship management, prospecting & market scanning. You will need to achieve targets related to building and expanding our Agent Network.

    What You Will Do

    • Lead a team of Agent Expansion Representatives to set up the Agent Network in assigned geographies
    • Identify & recruit KOKO Agents in accordance with set criteria in the assigned territory
    • Facilitate and coordinate the end to end process from agent recruitment to commissioning
    • Ensure a great Agent onboarding experience. Conduct Agent training on KOKO hardware and software functionality and product benefits
    • Ensure Agent compliance with KOKO processes and procedures
    • Facilitate Agent installation, contracting, merchandising, renewal, and termination, as needed
    • Identify risks in assigned territory and proactively manage and report any incidents
    • Liaise with different departments within the organization to ensure a flawless on on time setup and great Agent experience

    What You Will Bring To KOKO

    • Graduate from an accredited University, preferably in a Business-related area of study
    • 3+ years of work experience, ideally in sales, relationship management, or customer service
    • Excellent interpersonal and sales skills
    • Excellent planning and organization skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision

    Field Operations Team Leader - Mombasa

    Your Role

    As Field Operations Team leader, you will provide visibility on fuel quality and logistics activities while ensuring highest HSE standards are maintained.

    What You Will Do

    • Implement laid down fuel supply chain protocols including health, safety, and quality in conjunction with our fuel partner
    • Participate in fuel sampling and testing to ensure fuel supply remains within specification
    • Provide daily reports on fuel delivery activities including any incidents
    • Provide feedback on the KOKO technology used by the operators and identify areas of improvement
    • Monitor in conjunction with the fleet team the performance of company owned Micro tankers
    • Assist supervisors in ensuring that the Micro Tanker operators and Quality Marshalls are adhering to quality and safety requirements
    • Mentor operators and assistants on existing and tech improvements, KOKO maintenance activities and incident management
    • Monitor closely the fuel network and identify areas that need improvement or increased delivery capacities

    What You Will Bring To KOKO

    • Higher diploma in a technical discipline
    • 1+ year of hands-on experience in a technical field
    • Ability to adapt in a highly technological environment
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good data analysis skills
    • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment

    Agent Relationship Representative - Mombasa

    Your Role

    As Agent Relationship Representative, you will help KOKO maintain a robust retail network by recruiting and on-boarding agents and ensuring successful operation of their KOKO point business. Your key responsibilities will include business development, relationship management, market intelligence, and KOKO Cooker sales in an assigned territory. You will need to achieve set targets related to both building and maintaining satisfaction of our Agent network. -

    What You Will Do

    • Recruit KOKO Agents in accordance with set criteria in the assigned territory
    • Drive the growth of KOKO products and services via existing Agent network
    • Ensure a great Agent experience throughout their lifecycle
    • Conduct Agent trainings on KOKO hardware and software functionality and product benefits
    • Ensure Agent compliance with KOKO processes and procedures
    • Gather market and competitive intelligence on all facets that affect KOKO business
    • Facilitate Agent installation, contracting, merchandising, renewal, and termination, as needed

    • Support Agents to achieve their Cooker & Fuel sales targets and maximize profitability
