    Marketing Intern

    Responsibilities for the Marketing Internship

    • Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, mock ups, e-mail campaigns and online promotion.
    • Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials.
    • Assist with fulfillment of marketing offers.
    • Assist with execution of trade shows.
    • Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials
    • Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
    • Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
    • Prepare presentations, open and sort mail.
    • Enter contact information into contact management systems.
    • Maintain tracking report of public relations activity

    Requirements for the Marketing Internship

    Area Business Developer

    Responsibilities for the Area Business Developer Job

    • The Business Developer is primarily charged with the achievement of both individual and team sales targets.
      Supervision of all Sales developers, merchandisers and sales promoters in the assigned region.
    • Generation of accurate reports and forecasts to facilitate sound decision making by management.
    • Management of all the distributors, directly served customers, key accounts, and the general trade to ensure that they hold adequate stocks
    • Follow up on all purchases and liaise with dispatch department to ensure all orders have been delivered.
    • Credit management to ensure that payments are received when due and that credit terms are adhered to.
    • Oversee all promotional activities within the assigned region
    • Monitor merchandising activities to ensure that standards are met in all outlets
    • Act as primary liaison between customers and the organization; provide feedback and solutions to customer complaints
    • Provide market intelligence by monitoring competitor activities within the region; develop proactive strategies to counter these activities.
    • Manage outlet stock rotation to eliminate incidences of product expiry.
    • Enhance visibility by proper management of POS material placement
    • Consistently improve on distribution by recruitment of new customers and development of new markets.
    • Motivation, development and training of supervised employees
    • Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor (RSM) from time to time.

    Qualifications for the Area Business Developer Job

    • At least 4 years progressive sales experience in a busy FMCG company; 2 of which must have been in a supervisory level or higher.
    • Sales & Marketing related education background with at least a diploma qualification (bachelor’s degree preferred)
    • Professional Marketing certification in a distinct advantage
    • Highly developed organization and multitasking skills
    • Results oriented with strong business acumen and demonstrates a high degree of articulation
    • Good inter-personal skills
    • Ability to act rapidly and logically under pressure, and make effective use of others in resolving problems.
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

    Sales Consultant

    Nature and Purpose 

    To champion sales initiatives, and achieve agreed key sales performance parameters. Develop sales plans that are effective and that result in tangible positive results and noticeable market growth, as well as champion cross selling initiatives within the allocated region. The position requires an assertive person with upfront customer and market knowledge and intelligence in the territory.

    Responsibilities for the Sales Consultant Job

    • Visiting potential/existing customers to demonstrate all the services and products offered by the company.
    • Communicate effectively to customers, giving precise solutions and present quotations in a most professional manner
    • Up sell, cross sell, identify and develop new business from existing customers to increase the service range within the region
    • Close sales and convince clients why services offered by the Company are superior and beneficial than what competition offers
    • Responsible for price increases notification/mediation to the clients
    • Undertake debt collection from the customers and maintaining agreed credit terms
    • Achievement of the desired and agreed sales growth target for your portfolio.
    • Improvement, enhancement and achievement of agreed client retention rate. Building and maintaining strong professional client relationships aimed at retaining existing clients.
    • Create a relevant and historic customer data base by maintain complete records of all activities regarding customer visits, complaints etc
    • Monitoring the day to day commercial performance of each account within your portfolio.
    • Carry out analysis and provide detailed sales & service information for the client portfolio and make reports to the Manager as and when required
    • Daily liaison with other members of the service teams to provide information and ensure that customers receive excellent customer service
    • Noting and advising on changes and trends in the marketplace and the activities of competitors to ensure company services and products remain highly visible and preferred by customers

    Qualifications for the Sales Consultant Job

    • A Sales/Marketing degree, or a business related degree from a recognized university with experience in sales, a diploma in sales or its equivalent will be considered.
    • Must have a minimum 3 years practical experience in sales and marketing in a service industry
    • Valid driver license
