    Pharmaceutical Finance Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review accounting systems & procedures and make recommendations based on standard industry practice
    • Recommending and implementing internal controls related to financial processing.
    • Monitor the budget on a daily basis.
    • Lead and motivate the finance and administration team.
    • Prepare the latest estimate and following year’s corporate and F & A annual budgets.
    • Present detailed business plan on how the budget will be achieved.
    • Manage corporate finance and maintain corporation tax compliance.
    • Ensure financial, risk management and administrative records are maintained.
    • Monitor various portfolios to mitigate credit risk while maximizing revenue.

     

    Qualification:

    • Must have a CPA (K) / ACCA.
    • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
    • Must have pharmaceutical background in a multinational company.
    • Must have at least 5 years of financial management responsibility in a for-profit environment.
    • Must have experience in project management, procurement and overseeing contractors.
    • Must have an understanding of private equity fund investor issues.

    Financial Controller for a Solar Company

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the quarterly budgeting process for the Kenya operations. Liaise with all Division Heads to gather input for the quarterly budget
    • Lead the weekly budgeting process for all the counties of the Kenya operations
    • Monitor cash inflow and outflow in Kenya
    • Supervise the development of monthly financial accounts for the Kenya operations to a strict timetab
    • Lead on financial reporting to key funders and working capital providers
    • Lead the annual auditing process for the Kenya operations
    • Ensure the company complies all PAYE, VAT and Tax return and reporting requirements
    • Manage the Collections Officers Team of the Kenya operations
    • Oversee the follow-up on at risk debts and decide on debts write-off
    • Ensure weekly debt reports are developed accurately and sent on-time to County Managers
    • Liaise with suppliers to place new product orders
    • Manage stock, keep track of inflow and outflow of products and develop weekly inventory reports

     

    Qualification:

    • Bachelor degree in economics, business, finance or accounting ACCA or CPA finalist.
    • 7-9 years of experience in a financial services firm or an accounting firm
    • Experience in cash management and developing financial reports
    • Experience in equity and debt fundraising
    • Experience in working in a credit collections department and procurement
    • Strong commitment to processes and procedures
    • Capacity to work under minimum supervision and support
    • Excellent time-management, organisation and leadership skills
    • Good work ethics, professionalism and integrity
    • Experience of cloud-based software, Xero

    FMCG Company Production Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    • Plan, coordinate and execute the production objectives and schedules to ensure that production, pull planning and customer requirement targets are achieved.
    • Continuously improve using manufacturing excellence systems – Kaizen, TPM, ISO 22000:2005 etc.
    • Develop and cascade the manufacturing KPIs and monitor the same on the Balanced Score Card.
    • Formulate and execute a sustainable production strategy, policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety (OSH) and Morale.
    • Delete Muda, Mura and Muri in the production process while improving the productivity ratio.
    • Develop and control the direct labour, direct materials and overheads budget.
    • Process people capability development while creating effective work environments.
    • Manage third party contracts for manufacturing and the manufacturing service delivery.
    • Optimize, care and improvement of the asset base while delivering an On Time, In Full and Error free operation.
    • Measure the resultant correction or corrective action activities.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor degree in Engineering or in Science. MBA is an added advantage.
    • Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar capacity in a related industry.
    • Must be familiar with best practice in manufacturing.
    • Training and knowledge in HACCP / ISO 22000 / GMP / Kaizen would be an added advantage.

     

    Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 300,000 /= (Approx. 3,000 USD)

    Manager for a Conservation & Community Development

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work with the team in planning all projects and checking project management plans.
    • Conducting annual appraisals of the team.
    • Work with the communications consultant and the team to develop and implement a communications and fundraising strategy.
    • Work with the team, communications consultant and camp managers to develop fundraising material.
    • Work with the in-company social media / digital marketing officer.
    • Work with the team and the communications consultant to ensure circulars to internal and
    • external audiences are planned.
    • Ensure donor relations are maintained.
    • Ensure quarterly and annual reports are produced to a high quality.
    • Ensure fundraising targets are clear and funds raised are tracked and allocated correctly.
    • Ensure expenditure is within budget for any project or budget line.
    • Ensure that accounts and project updates are presented to Trustees and donors quarterly via the quarterly report and Trustee finance meeting.

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelors or Masters degree in conservation, environmental management, development, NGO communications or similar is highly desirable.
    • At least 1 to 2 previous roles which have required similar skills and competencies.
    • Ability to speak Swahili is a plus.
    • Motivated, organised and self-driven.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    Monthly gross salary: Competitive salary depending on skills & experience
