It initially started operations under the names Mwananchi Microlink Ltd which was incorporated on 15th April 2010. On 10th January 2012, it later changed its names to Mwananchi Credit Limited.

    Senior Data Analyst

    Role Summary:

    • A Senior data analyst is responsible for analyzing, sorting and interpreting data. You will be responsible for data collection, database creation, analysis and data protection standards for Mwananchi Credit Limited.

    Qualifications:

    • The incumbent must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an analyst role, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
    • Computer literacy and proficiency.

    Desired Skills:

    • Creating strategies and analyzing data for the company
    • Searching for the best tools for implementation
    • Performing plan-based analysis
    • Generating reports on the work done

    Call Center Agent

    Role Summary:

    • The Call Center Agent is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and furthering customer satisfaction ratings for Mwananchi Credit Limited.

    Qualifications:

    • The incumbent must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Communications or a rela- ted field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a call center or customer service and sales environment Computer literacy and proficiency
    • Previous experience in call center setup

    • Customer service - Maintain effective customer relations in a timely, efficient and prompt manner Team player - Positive attitude with the ability to work in a team environment:
    • Flexibility - Manage large amount of inbound and especially outbound calls promptly and can work night shifts when needed.

    Collections and Recovery Officer

    Role Summary:

    The Collections and Recovery Agent will be responsible for recovering the allocated Non-performing portfolio and strategizing on returning the accounts to performing status, full recovery or exit for Mwananchi Credit Limited. Region: Nairobi

    Qualifications:

    • The incumbent must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or Business Administra- tion or a related field.
    • 2 years of work experience in a financial institution as a debt collector will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge of relevant legal requirements.

    Desired Skills:

    • Debt recovery - Keep track of outstanding debts.
    • Ensure compliance with the company policies and regulatory requirements about collection and debt recovery.
    • Problem-solving - Plan a course of action to recover owed money.
    • Communication - Locate and contact debtors through structured field visits.
    • Negotiation - Payoff deadlines and payment plans, and enforce remedial measures such as restructuring or legal action to be undertaken.
    • Customer service - Negotiating with clients and coming up with suitable exit strategies for the allocated book. Solution-oriented - Identify gaps in the system and recommend solutions.

    Quality Assurance Analyst

    Role Summary:

    The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for monitoring and evaluating communication to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards for Mwananchi Credit Limited.

    Qualifications:

    • The incumbent must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Communications or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a Quality Assurance Analyst role, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
    • Computer literacy and proficiency.
    • Previous experience in a Call Center setup.

    Desired Skills:

    • Listening skills - Listen to recorded or live calls to assess the quality of customer interactions.
    • Knowledgeable - Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and pro- cedures.
    • Multitasking - Following up on quality for outbound and inbound calls.
    • Problem-solving - Establishing procedures and scenarios for quality control.
    • Teamwork - Work closely with the leadership to address quality issues and support performance impro- vement initiatives.
    • Informative - Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices in customer service.
    • Evaluate calls based on predefined criteria, including adherence to scripts, accuracy of information pro- vided, and overall customer service skills.
