    Transport Operations Coordinator

     About the role Key duties and responsibilities

    • Responsible for daily planning of trucks for Factory evacuation for Upfield inventory transfer to BDC and follow through on POD process.
    • Responsible for daily planning of trucks for loading for both Unilever and Upfield deliveries based on the allocated lanes.
    • Responsible for taking drivers through daily journey plan brief and filing of sign off.
    • Responsible for POD collection and update in the DCT system before hand over of the client copies and filing.
    • DHL team should observe the DHL safety first framework when conducting daily activities whin various workstations and sites.
    • Responsible to ensure safety observations are recorded in Logics target of 10 monthly.
    • Responsible for data consolidation for monthly joint performance client meeting.
    • You may be required to undertake other duties as necessitated by business needs that may not be part of the responsibilities outlined in this role profile.
    • Fully responsible for proper handling and safe usage of assigned equipment e.g.  Desktops, laptops, Mobile phones.
    • Raise the appropriate documents and ensure proper sign off and hand over to Client.
    • Ensure zero accidents and on time escalation.

    About you

    • Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics.
    • Relevant university degree
    • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in logistics/transport operations.
    • Knowledge of an ERP system.
    • Project management (From a finance perspective).
    • Achieves work targets and is willing to take on additional roles / responsibilities.

    Contract Accountant - Risk, and Own Fleet Operations

    About the role Key duties and responsibilities 

    • Provide financial and commercial support to the Contracts. 
    • Work with the Commercial Controller to develop and control the strategic planning process and the reporting. 
    • Management of the Insurance in the Country. 
    • Effective financial management of the account.
    • Preparation of annual budget monthly forecasts, monthly management reports and quarterly business reports. 
    • Management of Risk in the Country. 
    • Direct & control in liaison with Operations owner the overall Financial Plans and expenditure. 
    • Accountable for Management accounting and Cost accounting within the assigned contracts. 
    • Develops and co-ordinates necessary and appropriate accounting data and procedures for the. 
    • Financing Site Development Plans. 
    • Support in Internal and External Audits of various contracts. 
    • Responsible for Working Capital Management. 
    • Responsible for preparation of Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly financial reports for the Contracts. 
    • Attends Management meetings to discuss Contract performance. 
    • Drive Compliance awareness within the Contracts. 
    • Work with the Finance Controller to develop and control the strategic planning process and the reporting. 
    • Support decision-making through the provision and use of first-class financial information based on an accurate reporting and costings. 
    • Preparation of annual budget monthly forecasts, monthly management reports and quarterly business reports. 
    • Review and challenge of Contract Financial performance, directing and assisting in ensuring achievement of budget and forecast. 
    • Ensure Compliance with all Local statutory accounting rules and requirements, Group Accounting policies and procedures and other Compliance driven policies and procedures. Revenue management ensuring timely and accurate billing of clients and collection of receivables supported by Accounts Receivables. 

    About you 

    • Bachelor’s degree in commerce – Accounting option. 
    • Qualified Professional Accounts (ACCA, CPA, CA). 
    • Professional Course in Insurance 
    • Minimum 5 years of experience. 
    • Experience in a multinational company is an added advantage. 
    • Negotiation skills. 
    • Commercial breadth, i.e., general management experience 
    • Project management (From a finance perspective). 
    • Track record of strong P&L understanding. 
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). 
    • Well organized individual and results oriented.
