    Fitness Instructor

    Fitness Instructor

    Responsible for the overall operations and Guest satisfaction of the spa fitness areas, ensuring the highest level of professionalism in service to all Guests/Members through maximum efficiency, safety and uncompromising attention to detail and Guest care.

    5. What you will be doing:
    6. Reporting to the Health Club Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 
    7. Lead fitness exercise sessions, personal training sessions, group training experiences and in-service education sessions
    8. Appointment setting and scheduling of personal appointments 
    9. Administer health history, questionnaires, fitness-wellness evaluations as set forth by Programs Administrator
    10. Maintain thorough knowledge of all spa-fitness services, protocols and procedures
    11. Maintain cleanliness of all type of equipment. common areas and service areas
    12. Maintain thorough knowledge of all strength and cardio equipment and their programs as well as the proper use, alignment, safety and contraindications
    13. Maintain professional certifications while continually pursuing a greater degree of knowledge and expertise through self-study, in-services offered, program development and other continuing education efforts. 
    14. Maintain accurate records of all personal training clients, classes taught, coaching sessions and other professional services provided. 
    15. Ensure the spa-fitness facility is in peak condition at all times

    Your experience and skills include:

    1. Service focused personality is essential; experience is an asset
    2. Prior experience working within a fitness environment 
    3. Previous experience in a similar role
    4. Qualifications in relevant field
    5. Experience in group class instructions

    What you will be doing:

    Reporting to the Executive Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:             

    1. Responsible for the production of all pastries, cakes, cold/hot desserts, toppings for the pastry shop as well as other outlets.
    2. To prepare production charts of all the bakery and pastry items and monitor them from time to time.
    3. Ensure to exceed guest expectations in quality and service of the food products.
    4. Supervise the preparation and production of all bakery products.
    5. Ensure that all HACCP procedures are followed and clear records are maintained at all the times.

    Your experience and skills include:

    1. Adhere to Fairmont Appearance & Grooming Guidelines
    2. Two to Four Years of Previous Experience in a Pastry Production Kitchen and/or Restaurant Experience 
    3. Diploma Certification in a Culinary discipline an asset 
    4. Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities 
    5. Highly responsible & reliable 
    6. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment 
    7. Ability to work cohesively as part of a team 
    8. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
