    Business Development Officer

    Job Purpose Statement

    Generate annual commission revenue for Bancassurance products from bank and non-bank customers Retail Banking with Bancassurance BD team and RMs in-order to convert insurance from Retail banking channels. 

    Ideal Job Specifications

    Academic:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, preferable B.Com Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science and Insurance.
    • COP in Insurance would be an added advantage. Successful candidate will be required to sit and pass the exams within 6 months of joining.

    Professional:

    • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Packages

    Desired work experience:

    • At least 3 years working experience with insurance providers. Sales experience in Retail insurance is an added advantage

    Manager, Cash Management Sales

    Job Purpose Statement

    • Champion sales and utilization of Cash Management and eBanking solutions as the preferred delivery channels in the bank. Initiate strategies and products which will ensure growth of Non Funded Income (NFI) and cheap liabilities.
    • Co-ordinate Sales initiatives with the Relationship Managers/Officers/Analysts of the bank and provide support in growing liabilities and transactional business.
    • Co-ordinate with Cash Management helpdesk team to offer exceptional customer service to customers. Liaise with operations to ensure smooth running of the cash management products.
    • Continuously advise the bank on the new industry developments on the cash management and ebanking

    Job Specifications

    Academic:

    • University Degree in a Business/IT Related Field - Minimum Upper 2nd Class Honours

    Professional:

    • ACIB/AKIB Banking qualifications will be an added advantage.
    • A professional qualification in IT or project management field is an added advantage.

    Desired work experience:

    • 3 year customer service/sales roles in the financial sector will be an added advantage
    • Proficient in Ms Office Suite – Ms Word, Power Point, Ms Visio, Ms Excel, Ms Access etc.

    Relationship Manager

    Job Purpose Statement

    • Manage a portfolio of corporate customers; serve as their primary point of contact and financial advisor as well as prospect and acquire new corporate customers to
    • grow the Bank’s revenue and share of wallet for the assigned industry in line with the Bank’s strategy.
    • Apply experience in corporate relationship management to develop and implement account plans for the existing portfolio within the assigned industry target market, recommend, structure and sell solutions that address the customers’ needs, with the support from the solution/product teams in order to meet assigned goals and target.
    • Customer acquisition, satisfaction, growth and retention are critical to succeed in this role.
    • Collaborate with the Client Service team to ensure fulfilment of all deliverables.
    • Actively coach Client Service Managers in aid of their achievement of performance targets

    Ideal Job Specifications

    Academic:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited university.

    Professional:

    • At least 5 years’ experience in Commercial Banking, 3 of which should have been in an assistant management capacity in a similar sized organisation.

    Desired work experience:

    • Proven track record of consistently achieving a portfolio’s financial growth.
    • Experience in products, bank operations and customer experience is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of the local banking industry, banking products, banking services and banking regulations. Sound working knowledge and understanding of general
    • Commercial Banking regulations and practices.
