    Interior Design/ CAD Technician

    Our Client is an interior architecture and design firm based in Nairobi. They seek to hire an Interior Designer/CAD Technician. The individual will be mandated to manage design projects from start to finish i.e sketch design plans, determine costs for different projects, source materials and products for the designs, inspect construction to ensure alignment with design specifications etc.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Manage design projects from start to finish
    2. Interpret and translate client needs into space plans
    3. Implement the design phase of projects from concept to completion
    4. Conduct site surveys and define project requirements during briefing
    5. Consider materials and costs and prepare furnishing estimates
    6. Source for Sample or develop Mood boards and 3D renders
    7. Prepare and make client presentations, prepare detailed working drawings and plans
    8. Procure written quotes for design elements, furnishing and materials
    9. Conduct on-site design supervision and provide recommendations to help streamline projects
    10. Take, circulate and maintain project meeting minutes
    11. Identify new businesses and sell services to potential clients

    Required Specifications:

    1. Demonstrable working experience in designing Interior spaces
    2. At least 5 years of relevant experience
    3. Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design(Construction) or Architecture
    4. Proficient in ArchiCAD / AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3DMax/Revit, Illustrator/Photoshop or other design programs
    5. Excellent portfolio of previous works
    6. Creative talent, imagination, and an eye for detail
    7. Possess great project management skills, communication and presentation skills

    Business Development Manager(Marketing)

    Our client in manufacturing seeks to hire a Business Development Manager (Marketing).
    Reporting to the Sales Manager, the BDM will be responsible for spearheading marketing and business development strategies. He/she will ensure that they develop and implement marketing strategies that have ROI. The company is located in Mlolongo Machakos County.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Develop marketing strategies, campaigns and digital plans
    2. Manage promotions, advertisements, and sales collateral
    3. In charge of the implementation of the Go to Market (GTM) strategies
    4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meet their requirements
    5. Spearhead marketing initiatives, generate demand, and increase brand connection
    6. Create link-building strategies, content marketing strategies, and social media presence
    7. Innovate and present new marketing platforms and strategies
    8. Conduct industry and market research, benchmark where necessary
    9. Use research findings to provide direction on projects, products and business strategy
    10. In charge of content creation, in-house publications, visual and audio production

    Required Specifications

    1. Minimum of a diploma in marketing or sales and marketing
    2. CIM qualification is an advantage
    3. Experience working with SMEs in the manufacturing industry and in a similar position
    4. At least 5 years’ experience with 2 years in a team leader position
    5. Experience managing a diverse team of salespersons and stakeholders
    6. Successful track record in B2C sales and negotiation and experience in digital marketing
    7. A strong customer-oriented focus

    Business Development Manager(Retail Marketing))

    Our client in manufacturing seeks to hire a BDM (Retail Market). Reporting to the Sales Manager, the BDM will be in charge of generating sales, growing business and increasing the market share for retail products. He/she will ensure that his/her team meets the set sales targets. The company is located in Mlolongo Machakos County.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Source and close new business deals, develop and negotiate contracts
    2. Identify, explore and pursue new business opportunities in the general trade and modern trade
    3. Grow business and increase product market share in Kenya and beyond
    4. Attend conferences and industry events to network for business opportunities and partnerships
    5. Responsible for cost management and efficiency
    6. Examine business risks and advise the company accordingly
    7. Identify market and stakeholder needs
    8. Develop goals for the retail sales team and ensure they are met
    9. Prepare business proposals and make client presentations
    10. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs in the retail market
    11. Manage the sales cycle from order taking to the collection of payments
