    Field Service Sales Technician

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Must proficiently communicate with customers, verbally and via email daily
    • Candidate must be able to liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Calling on existing and new customers and maintaining relationships and growing the business with these customers
    • Identifying new prospects and cold-calling potential customers.
    • Setting and chasing ambitious sales targets and generating new pump sales.
    • Grow field service. This will include procuring active service contracts.
    • Tracking previous services completed and getting customers to service again with us.
    • Generate service repair sales for the Busch workshops.
    • Generate new pump sales: spares, pumps, and systems
    • On-site problem-solving.
    • Install and repair vacuum pumps and systems on-site.
    • Develop and implement strategies with the sales team.
    • Complete the required reports on time (weekly and monthly).
    • Develop relationships with the key role players– i.e. Technicians, Engineers, Maintenance Managers, Consultants, Contractors, Distributors and End users.
    • Give accurate and constant feedback to management
    • May be required to travel in Africa and must have a passport and active Driving Licence.

    Education and Skills

    • Diploma or a degree in Electro-Mechanical Trades or Electrical Engineering.
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in end-user repairs and/or technical selling of vacuum pumps, water pumps, compressors, valves, or other Industrial equipment selling to industrial markets: E.g., Food, plastics, woodwork, medical, automotive, packaging, wastewater.
    • Must have a passport and active Driving Licence.
    • First Language English and Kiswahili are preferable as many of our customers prefer to communicate in these two languages.
    • Good technical skills and hands-on.

    Grade (7) Teacher

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning.
    • Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
    • Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments,) to the learners.
    • Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
    • Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom.
    • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings.
    • Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events.
    • Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, or abuse.

    Qualifications:

    • PI holder and have a Teachers Service Commission registration.

    Driver Guide

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Ensure that the vehicle is kept tidy, clean and in good working condition at all times.
    • Notify your Supervisor in advance that your vehicle is due for service and maintenance as well as any mechanical problem that you have noted.
    • Keenly supervise the vehicle assigned to you as guided by your Supervisor/ Management in the event that the vehicle has been taken for repair and/ or service and maintenance.
    • Observe all road and traffic laws and regulations of Kenya as a licensed driver.
    • Picking, identifying, greeting and welcoming tourists to the tour.
    • Informing tourists about the itinerary for each tour.
    • Planning and executing itineraries in accordance.
    • Scheduling visits and purchasing tickets to museums, galleries, protected parks, and other attractions ahead of time, if required.
    • Planning alternate activities in the event that cancellations, closures, or weather prohibit you and the tourists from attending scheduled events.
    • Gathering and maintaining the requisite equipment for each tour.
    • Familiarizing tourists with each region or establishment.

    Key skills and qualification

    • Diploma in Tourism, Management or any other related course
    • At least 2 years of experience in a busy office as a Driver Guide
    • Must be well conversant with the Coastal region in terms of; properties, terrain, historical sites and parks.
    • Minimum 5 Years’ experience
    • Basic vehicle mechanical knowledge will be an added advantage
    • Familiar with the coastal region layout and history.
    • Valid Drivers and PSV licence

    Assistant Sociologist

    Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out Social Impact Assessments/Social Surveys and audits on projects
    • Assist with conducting Environmental Impact Assessments on projects where required.
    • Assist with carrying out Environmental Audits on projects where required.
    • Assist with carrying out Health & Safety Audits and assessments on projects where required.
    • Perform project management and coordination roles on projects where required.
    • Coordinate the activities of the office-based and field teams including multi-disciplinary project inputs to ensure quality of work and timely delivery of projects.
    • Liaise with external project team members including the Client and attend meetings.
    • Carry out Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), implement and ensure Quality Management System (QMS) is adhered to on projects.
    • Prepare bids and proposals for projects in the areas of Environmental and Socio-Impact Assessments and studies, Safety and Healthy campaigns
    • Assist in marketing and business development activities in the areas of environmental and sociological studies relevant to the company’s core business areas
    • Perform the role of a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Socio Economist on projects as assigned by the management.
    • Any other duties assigned.

    Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology or related discipline.
    • Registration with National Environment Management Authority as an Associate Expert or Lead Expert is necessary though not mandatory.
    • Membership in Professional Societies is necessary though not mandatory
    • Experience in project implementation processes i.e Work plans, Logframes, Action Plans Reporting, and simple budgeting
    • Experience in carrying out Social Impact Assessments and Social Surveys on development projects
    • Use of computers and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
    • Possess knowledge on the use of relevant socio-economic analysis software and applications.
    • Public Consultation skills.
    • People skills including interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
