    Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise the operations team.
    • Resolve customer issues and answer questions.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
    • Provide information about facilities, entertainment options, and rules and regulations.
    • Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures, or arrange for the removal of unruly patrons.
    • Record details of attendance, sales, receipts, reservations, or repair activities.
    • Maintain inventories of equipment, storing and retrieving items and assembling and disassembling equipment as necessary.
    • Sell tickets and collect fees from customers.
    • Keep informed of shut-down and emergency evacuation procedures.
    • Inspect equipment to detect wear and damage and perform minor repairs, adjustments, or maintenance tasks, such as oiling parts.
    • Provide assistance to patrons entering or exiting amusement rides, boats, or ski lifts, or mounting or dismounting animals.
    • Verify, collect, or punch tickets before admitting patrons to venues, such as amusement parks and rides

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Degree/Diploma in hospitality / leisure.
    • 4 years of experience in hospitality.
    • Ability to manage, lead and motivate a team.
    • Energetic. Physical ability to be on your feet 8 hours at a time.
    • Ability to effectively explain rules and regulations to customers
    • Strong conflict management skills.
    • Excellent customer service & communication skills.
    • Friendly and positive attitude.
    • First Aid certification is a plus.
    • Effective communication and customer service skills.
    • Knowledge of cash handling procedures.

    General Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Expand the company clientele by entering into contracts with more companies.
    • Ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of services provided by the company;
    • Providing organizational leadership and vision in developing and recommending to the Board annual business plans for the company;
    • Providing regular, thorough and prompt communication to the Board on key financial and administrative matters;
    • Defining and implementing business marketing strategies to increase business base and profitability;
    • Establishing a systematic business scouting plan and leverage existing resources to maximize market coverage;
    • Liaising with the Board to provide feedback regarding any trends, quality issues or areas of concern to ensure that prompt action is taken where necessary;
    • In consultation with the Board, interview and employ such other personnel that may be necessary for the daily running of the company;
    • Establishing, managing and updating a robust and efficient human resource data base of all personnel;
    • Effectively setting out goals and objectives for the team, including those for supervisory roles;
    • Managing contractual budgets in line with financial targets;
    • Ensuring all aspects of the required services are being delivered to the customers’ satisfaction and in accordance with the contract;
    • Completing effective health and safety assessments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of any incidents, involvement in subsequent investigations and providing input into health and safety committees and forums; and
    • Performing risk assessment and site evaluations as well as completing quarterly performance reports and billing schedules.

    Requirements for appointment

    • Have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing and Strategic Management from a recognized Institution.
    • A Master’s degree in the above disciplines will be an added advantage
    • Have at least years five (5) of experience in senior management in medium to large organization.

    Key Competences

    • Possess good oral and written communication skills;
    • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and competence in the work performance;
    • Be compliant with Chapter Six of the Kenyan Constitution;
    • Be IT proficient;
    • Possess the ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
    • Be able to meet deadlines;
    • Strong ability to prioritize and make independent decisions; and
    • Ability to design and implement programmes and activities as required.
