    Quality Controller

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Establish and continually review quality management systems (QMS) within the context of the overall strategic plan, and in line with local standards within the manufacturing operation.
    • Ensure QMS and EHS compliance by carrying out gap analysis, managing and carrying out 6S’s audits, drawing up action plans for all actions arising from the production, and following up on status to ensure implementation.
    • Work alongside Production functions to deliver product meeting quality, safety, and financial standards.
    • Ensure all activities carried out comply with relevant site GMP and EHS requirements.
    • Ensure appropriate training and development of production personnel to maximize output and minimize risk in terms of product quality, product loss, waste, and occupational health and safety and environment concerns.
    • Ensure 100% adherence and compliance to the continuous improvement training for all factory production staff.
    • Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success
    • Supplier audits/development to ensure business continuity and strengthening of supplier relationships
    • Waste reduction in the factory
    • Provide stretch targets for self and teams and recalibrate ideas through involved engagement
    • Customer/consumer complaint resolution in liaison with marketing as relates to quality issues, dealing with product integrity and packaging carrying out root cause analysis, drawing action plans, and ensuring effective implementation.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver the Zero Waste, Zero Accident, and Zero Quality ambition.
    • Monthly report to Leadership
    • Continual improvement process to ensure factory activities are as per set GMP standards
    • Right first-time monitoring as well as monitoring of process failures
    • Line approvals for packaging material
    • Coach and train staff on GMP
    • Receive and inspect market returns including consumer/customer complaints
    • Follow all procedures as per the Quality Policy.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Diploma in Engineering
    • 4+ years in quality control in the manufacturing environment

    Internal Audit

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Designing of internal audit scope, development & implementation of risk-based internal audit programs.
    • Carrying out a risk assessment for the Group and maintaining an updated risk register.
    • Assist in the preparation of the audit coverage plan, based on the risk profile of each business segment in the Group.
    • Designing audit tests that increase the probability of detecting incidents of fraud and its prevention.
    • Preparation of draft reports; discussion with the auditees; and thereafter, preparation of final reports incorporating findings, risk, and recommendations for further action by the management.
    • Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation of the corrective measures to mitigate identified risks.
    • Coordination with the Company’s external auditors.
    • Carrying out audit investigations and ad-hoc assignments.
    • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Degree in a business field or related course.
    • Qualified as CPA(K), ACCA or Equivalent\
    • 4+ years experience in a similar role with at least 2 years in a tier I audit firm

    Stock Accountant

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and submit end-month stock reconciliation reports for NJD White Oils Depot.
    • Prepare and submit end-month Lubes (DHL) stock reconciliation.
    • Prepare monthly stock reports (Adjustment Memos) between Oracle and various statements for approval, following up to ensure all adjustments are done on time.
    • Reconcile Oracle receipts against signed delivery notes or RMA.
    • Stocks management and follow-up on RMAs in Lubes and Fuel.
    • Initiate daily pump-over requests from KPC into the depot.
    • Prepare and circulate Oracle vs KPC receipts and ensure all gains/losses are booked.
    • Reconcile KPC receipts and invoices by the 4th of the subsequent month.
    • Daily preparation and circulation of sales reconciliation reports.
    • Maintain an entry usage reconciliation.
    • Ensure local and export entries reflect the true position in the systems at the depot.
    • Inspect and verify daily NJD stock reports.
    • Manage truck receipts EX-other depots and share transit losses with the logistics team for processing.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting or a related field 
    • Professional accounting certification (CPA/ACCA).
    • 3+ years’ experience in a comparable position.
    • Competency in Microsoft Office and ERP
