Reporting to: Senior Trainer
Direct reporting: Workshop Assistants
Job specification:
Reporting to the Senior Trainer, the Trainer is responsible for training Students under the provisions of the respective School in accordance with Standards of Training Certification and Watch keeping (STCW) 1978 as amended and other Maritime International Conventions.
The Trainer will assist in conducting practical training in vessel navigation, repairs and maintenance.

The Coxswain will work within the schools; aiding Trainers in training activities by navigating training vessels.
