    Sales and Marketing Manager

    Key Responsibilities                  

    • Establish sales goals and objectives to achieve departmental targets.
    • Develop and implement the annual marketing plan, coordinating marketing activities and annual sales and promotion programs.
    • Ensure the achievement of the hotel’s vision, mission, and goals, resulting in outstanding customer service.
    • Develop customer base and market segmentation to meet target sales forecasts and budgets.
    • Manage day-to-day sales activities, including supervising sales teams and overseeing shift management to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Conduct market research, monitor competitor activities, and identify opportunities for growth and market penetration.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to create and execute effective marketing campaigns, promotions, and pricing strategies.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of sales and marketing strategies with overall business goals.
    • Analyze market trends and customer needs to tailor product offerings and maximize profitability.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to enhance business opportunities and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with departmental heads to develop new revenue-increasing ideas.
    • Regularly attend departmental meetings to address guest-related issues.
    • Submit monthly sales promotion reports, competitive pricing analysis, plans for the upcoming month, and sales analysis reports.
    • Participate in regional and international trade shows and exhibitions as needed.
    • Conduct periodic target reviews and performance appraisals in alignment with the organization’s budget.
    • Set clear targets for all sales team members and review these targets weekly, communicating performance to the team.
    • Ensure each sales team member has a segmented market.
    • Maximize sales calls to achieve optimal yields.
    • Stay informed about competitors through benchmarking.
    • Ensure maximum visibility of the hotel in the market.
    • Conduct sales meetings and report to the General Manager.
    • Coordinate all sales activities.
    • Engage the sales team in team-building activities to gather feedback.
    • Lead and maintain a highly motivated team.

    Qualifications and skills

    • A degree in Sales and Marketing from a reputable institution
    • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel, with a preference for international experience outside of Kenya.
    • Proven experience in digital marketing strategies and implementation
    • Strong analytical skills for sales data interpretation and decision-making
    • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to motivate and manage a team towards achieving goals
    • Strategic planning abilities to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans

    Food & Beverage Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement a hands-on management approach to stay informed about departmental operations.
    • Conduct all required inspections according to the Hotel Management Manuals and the General Manager’s requests.
    • Create and use checklists for all Food & Beverage service outlets before, during, and after service.
    • Ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of food in restaurants and conference facilities, and keep items replenished.
    • Complete and sign daily checklists for all service outlets.
    • Develop and continuously review Food & Beverage Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Ensure all administrative and operational procedures comply with Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Review client feedback at each F&B meeting and take immediate corrective action.
    • Ensure the Food & Beverage team adheres to control procedures as per the Hotel Management Manuals.
    • Conduct random inspections using checklists from the Hotel Management Manuals.
    • Act in the company’s best interests to minimize costs and maximize revenue within the job scope.
    • Research, propose, and implement new Food & Beverage products and services.
    • Foster an environment for staff innovation and creativity in Food & Beverage services.
    • Provide a variety of products to meet changing client preferences.
    • Ensure all staff are trained and familiar with operating standards, with at least two training sessions per month documented with lesson plans sent to Human Resources.
    • Lead staff by example, uphold high ethical standards and set clear objectives for each employee.
    • Ensure new employees receive thorough inductions before starting their jobs.
    • Maintain good industrial relations and continuously improve productivity.

    Qualifications and skills

    • Bachelor’s degree from Kenya Utalii College
    • MA from a reputable institution is an added advantage
    • Over eight (8) years of experience in the hospitality industry with at least five (5) years in a managerial role in a 5-star Hotel
    • Experience in international cuisine
    • Proven ability to manage and lead a large team

    Marketing Associate

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the internal marketing and communications promotional calendar, ensuring deliverables are executed on time and advising team members on due dates.
    • Establishing positioning, identifying target audiences, and developing marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments. 
    • Leading the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration 
    • Lead generation
    • Collaborate with the various departments to launch local activations
    • Concept around, and execute promotional offers, ensuring all are communicated through the appropriate channels
    • Manage invoice tracking and monthly breakdown of marketing costs against budget.

     Key Qualifications

    In-house Legal Officer

    Job Purpose:

    To provide comprehensive Legal and Administrative support to the Managing Director to ensure efficient running of operations.

    Principal Accountabilities/Key result areas:

    Coordination and Communication

    • Serve as a communicating channel between Senior Management and the board.
    • Implementing the actions of the Board to the Management.
    • Arranging for different types of Board meetings and appointments.

    Policy Implementation and Execution

    • Implementing of Company Policies.

    Legal Support

    • Ensuring the Company works in accordance with the Legal Framework of Employment Act.

    Audits Support

    Accountant

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses; 
    • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities 
    • Ensure that records comply with laws and regulations. 
    • Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, ensure prompt payment 
    • Timely posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are up to date 
    • Ensure all statutory details are accurate and paid on time

    Requirements and skills

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business related field from a recognized university 
    • Qualified Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) will be an added advantage
    • At least three years accounting experience in a Forex Bureau
    • Experience in using Sabit Forex Trading System will be required
    • A competent user of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel and Word.
    • Good knowledge of computer accounting software
