    Storekeeper

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Raise orders on behalf of users for approval
    • To receive the materials supplied by the suppliers as per the purchase order placed by the Purchase Department or end users.
    • To ensure the correctness in the quality, quantity, specifications and condition of the materials received from suppliers
    • To separate the materials category wise and store in the appropriate locations.
    • Ensure there is easy access, identification, verification, handling and maintenance of materials.
    • Controlling all the storage activities with an accurate monitoring (material in/out) system to ensure goods and materials in stock are used before the expiry date.
    • Reconcile all the incoming materials with purchase orders and packing lists.
    • Generate reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received on a daily basis.
    • Maintains files appropriate for the activities of the store, such as quotations, orders and or goods received notes
    • In charge of the security of the goods and materials in the store up until consumed.
    • Monitoring the quantities available on stock with a clear picture of consumer demands
    • Answerable to audit queries that relate to the materials in stock or either used materials.
    • To ensure proper safety measures are taken for the safety of the materials in the store and the workers in the store.
    • To issue out the materials to the user departments or personnel guided by the purchase orders and delivery notes.
    • Give out a regular report on stock levels.
    • Recollecting any balance/ receiving back any unused materials at the end of the working day.
    • General supervision on the store regarding wastage of material and improper use of material etc.
    •  To maintain the soteneat and tidiness of store house.

     Job Qualifications

    • A Diploma in Store keeping or procurement
    • 3 years of relevant experience as a store keeper.
    • Experience in the construction industry

    Account Manager

    Job Description

    The overall purpose of the BDE / Account Manager position is to achieve and surpass sales targets, thereby contributing to revenue generation, growth and account/market penetration within assigned territory or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and services and managing customer relationships to deliver on customer retention forecasts.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Present the business and its various service offerings to potential customers through in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
    • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current Customers and prospective
    • Customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products and services through in person visits, email and telephone communication
    • Conduct site visits to develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers and pricing plans
    • Develop the scope, prepare and agree on pricing and close on both Retail and contractual business opportunities.
    • Review costing for contractual jobs to confirm adherence to profit margins and ensure contracts are duly signed off.
    • Take the lead in transition meetings for contractual sales delivered to ensure contractual commitments are met.
    • Ensure invoices are settled promptly in line with credit policy so as to contribute to the company’s positive cashflow position.
    • Maintain close contact with customers in order to handle any complaints, attend to any problem areas, and maintain necessary public relations to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business.
    • Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, operations and technical service teams.
    • Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services as well as keeping them
      informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
    • Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment
    • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
    • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
    • Keeping up to date with all sales regulations, systems, standards and procedures and to ensure compliance.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Degree in sales and marketing or a in business related field.
    • 3+  years’ experience in an aggressive sales environment preferably in the service industry
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office systems including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

    Brand Marketing and Communications Lead

    Job Description

    This position is an existing blend between art direction, content design and communication in the Kenyan financial technology sector. The role involves the revamping of the company’s image, values and reputation to create a mature brand in the country’s digital payment ecosystem. In addition, the candidate oversees the creation of unique brand identities, for each digital payment offer, that appeal to specific target markets.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Manage the  brand across all platforms (internal and external)
    • Plan and execute brand look & feel of the company’s marketing materials to ensure consistency
    • Create digital content such as social media posts, emails, blog assets, infographics or digital assets for websites
    • Direct media strategies and execution of plans thereof to ensure the right brand messages and understanding by customers and other stakeholders
    • Work closely with CEO and the Board of Directors to drive corporate communications
    • Planning and executing periodic brand awareness survey
    • Manage the JamboPay’s product brands across all platforms (internal and external)
    • Work on content marketing strategies with business development managers to ensure that the company has a strong presence in business, tech and financial media outlets
    • Create digital content such as social media posts, emails, blog assets, infographics or digital assets for websites
    • Create campaigns that have an instant and positive impact on product awareness to generate demand and revenue
    • Planning and executing periodic brand awareness survey

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in communications/marketing/journalism
    • 5+ years’ experience in a a similar role in  PR or communication agency, with at least 2 years in the financial/ Fintech industry a plus.
    • Knowledge of one digital design tool (ex: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Canva Pro, Figma)
    • Knowledge of one animation tool (ex: Motion graphics, Adobe Animate, Sparks)
    • Submission of a portfolio which showcases the candidate’s previous projects and work
