    IT - Manager

    The successful candidate MUST provide a strong and secure infrastructure foundation using Active Directory IT Security and firewalls etc and ensure effective disaster preparedness is implemented in line with Company and Group requirements, and data software and hardware security and integrity at all times.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage & provide IT support of all IT infrastructure in offices & working environments retail outlets
    • Provide Project management skills and support.
    • Establish and Prioritize key business requirements.
    • Formulate a clear IT strategic plan by identifying and aligning with key stakeholders
    • Work with MIS team members to analyze and resolve on-going day by day issues.
    • Research and recommend solutions locally and in collaboration with Group MIS.
    • Lead, execution,  development and  implementation of MIS systems, on-going support, upgrades & maintenance
    • Negotiate and manage IT agreements with vendors and partners
    • Establish and develop key relationships and establish and ensure adherence to SLA’s.
    • Establish security processes & regular monitoring of IT systems, data and access methods.
    • Establish and control IT budgets
    • Formulate internal SLA’s for key application provision and ensure SLA adherence.
    • Regularly review, improve and test Disaster Preparedness and data security and integrity.

    Qualifications:

    Must have a bachelors or Masters in MIS or related field.
    Minimum 8-10 years- MIS manager or similar role.
    Must have experience in large retail or manufacturing company.
    Must have qualifications or training in Project Management methodologies (Prince2, PMP )
    • MCSE or software development certification.
    • Extensive management experience of helpdesk functions, hands on exp of desktop &network support.
    • Knowledge and experience of software development lifecycle and managing development teams.
    • Ability to understand (at a high level) programming languages (Esp. Visual Fox Pro. And Oracle Forms)
    • Working knowledge of databases (Oracle, MSSQL etc.)
    • Working knowledge of older IT infrastructure (e.g. COBOL)
    • Strong knowledge of Firewalls and networking security.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server and email technologies

    Business Development Consultant /Advisor

    The successful candidates must have a solid background in business development, having worked with private companies within a high pressure multinational environment. This job will be performance based.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in developing and implementing strategies for private companies in the African region
    • Create a network with relevant local companies and stakeholders
    • Contact relevant local and multinational companies, authorities, direct consumers, workers eg. factories and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a successful implementation of    the different companies strategy in the African region
    • Identify business opportunities based on concrete and high-level analysis
    • Prepare relevant industry/market reports
    • Assist in sales and marketing activities on behalf of clients in the African region

    Qualifications:

    • A higher education, preferably in the business field
    • At least 3 years working for a multinational or a local large scale company
    • A passion for sales and a proven sales track record – achieving targeted goals
    • Basic data analysis skills, qualitative and quantitative research, industry field research, due diligence in terms of business and finance for a private company
    • Basic skills of developing strategies based on logical and analytical evidence on an international level
    • African and worldwide business & industry knowledge to be able to communicate with Senior Managers in multinational companies
    • Willing to travel throughout Kenya and African countries
    • Excellent written and spoken English
    • Good knowledge of Kiswahili
    • French speaking an added advantage
    • Responsible and result driven
    • Able to work in a high pressure environment

    Net Software Developer

    He/she will be responsible for developing and testing product improvements and features for three products. The ideal candidates need to be confident in managing several things at the same time, comfortable switching between projects and quick to get up to speed. They will also be working remotely hence will need to be organised and able to work independently, have good communication, problem solving skills willingness to learn new skills and keep up to date with the latest technologies.. Experience using Microsoft technologies including Office and ideally SharePoint add-in development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Development and maintenance of existing products.
    • Providing best practices and guidance on new projects and products.
    • Working with stakeholders in the UK to determine requirements and tasks.
    • Sharing ideas throughout all development teams.
    • Ensuring coding standards are maintained and adhered to.

    Qualifications:

    • BSc. in Information Technology
    • Must have 5 years experience in software development.
    • Development experience at all stages of the development cycle from design to testing and release.
    • Proven ability to use own initiative in software design.
    • Experience of working remotely with minimal supervision.
    • Demonstrate problem solving skills.
    • Strong organisation skills, ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills, English both verbal and written.
    • Microsoft Office or SharePoint Add-In development.
    • iPad, android or Windows Mobile development .
