The Area Sales Manager (EasyBuy) will take full operational responsibility for all market-side functions of the direct sales business: setting up supply chain operations; recruiting, training and leading Energy Officers in the assigned territory.

Area Sales Manager Job Responsibilities

• Prospect & shortlist Area distributors for final selection interview by RSM or Sales Head
• Recruit, train & develop team of 30 Energy officers in the designated Area HQ as per laid down guidelines
• Daily monitoring and joint field work with Energy officers to ensure that 50% of EO’s are active daily
• Meet weekly and monthly Sales targets
• Monitor Energy officers to ensure they adhere to all post sales collection activities including client calls and client visits
• This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager (EasyBuy) and involves 15 – 20 days of travel per month. The ideal candidate:

Qualifications for the Area Sales Manager

• Is a graduate degree/diploma holder from a recognized University
• Has minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales or Sales related environments like Sales coordination or Channel management such as recruiting distributors or agents
• Is well versed with the local market geography, language and trade market.
• Must reside in the designated Area HQ
• Has working knowledge of MS office, email and smartphone apps

Statistical Analyst Job Responsibilities

• Developing and executing predictive models and advanced analytics.
• Machine learning, predictive analytics, data mining, advanced analytics, statistics, workload prioritization, operations research, risk analysis, streaming analytics, anomaly detection, exploratory data analysis, ETL, event log processing, mathematical modeling, graph/network analysis, data visualization, data access, storage and retrieval
• Independently researching statistical techniques and their application to the business
• Monitoring existing predictive models for ongoing efficiency and stability; performing refreshes as necessary.
• Communicating findings and recommendations via written and oral presentations; conveying a clear understanding of business implications.
• Effectively handling data through quality checks and appropriate transformations; expertly and efficiently handling large datasets.
• Documenting activities in an organized manner to facilitate knowledge retention.
• Attending occasional late-night and early-morning calls with colleagues around the world

Qualifications for the Statistical Analyst Job

• Bachelor’s Degree within a Quantitative Field
• Strong analytical skills to effectively apply statistical methodologies in addressing business challenges
• Predictive modelling and analytics background, either through direct experience, or a relevant degree
• Skilled user of R or Python
• Skilled user of SQL
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to learn quickly, initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Looker, Tableau, or Periscope (an added advantage)

The Procurement Officer will provide strategic leadership to ensure efficient and effective delivery of procurement services and advise function heads on matters relating to procurement of goods and services.Key responsibilities for the role include:

Procurement Job Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures
• Coordinating negotiations with suppliers and developing a database of pre-approved vendors
• Conducting due diligence on prospective suppliers to ensure quality
• Receiving supplier invoices and verifying information on Supporting documents (delivery notes and supply requisitions-LPO) in order to establish the accuracy of delivered
• LPOs and initiate the purchase to pay process (P2P).
• Developing and implementing a management information system for monitoring, tracking and controlling operating costs
• Managing risk and maintaining a quality management system in the procurement unit.

Qualifications for the Procurement Jobs

• Has a Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Supplies Management, or related discipline from a recognized university. A
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Supplies Management is an added advantage
• Membership in good standing at the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ progressive work experience in procurement and supplies in a multinational organisation
• Is honest, trustworthy and possesses a high degree of personal integrity and professionalism.
• Demonstrates sound judgment, excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, presentation and reporting skills.
• Is results oriented with the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
