    Client Delivery Manager

    The Client Delivery Manager has a wide range of responsibilities which are all related to the overarching objective of delivering a great customer experience within project budget, timeline and quality.

    An overview of these responsibilities are:

    • Single and overall responsible Program Manager for a specific Long-term Strategic Partnership (LSP) / Solution, responsible
    • for the overall solution after contract award.
    • Coordinate activities and decision making on behalf of the customer, Philips and the Working Groups.
    • Works closely with senior executives of the customer and Philips leadership in monitoring successful operations of the program and acts as the central point of resolution and leadership for all activities at the customer site(s), including service, equipment, consulting and education.
    • Sits on executive leadership committees and other groups as necessary to ensure deep understanding of ongoing customer needs. Develop strategic working relationships and provide guidance to C-level customer’s leaders.
    • Preferably a Client Delivery Manager participates in the tender phase by joining the bid team after Deal Board I and gets familiarized with the account and the overall solution that he/she will be accountable for after contract award.
    • Financially accountable for the specific LSP / Solution (sales, margin and cash flow)
    • Fully responsible for customer satisfaction
    • Utilize technical and industry knowledge to identify complex customer issues, broaden customer relationships, and develop a reputation as a thought leader
    • General management and oversight of the planning and execution of all underlying, inter-related projects that make up the overall customer program.
    • Independently oversee the day to day activities of complex projects including interaction with customer personnel, Philips team members, and senior leadership
    • Oversee several Philips project managers, consultants and partners within the program team insuring program implementation is planned and executed according to Philips standards
    • Develop program documentation including but not limited to a detailed program plan, budget, risk management plan, status updates, retrospectives, and client reporting
    • Commissioning and all related Health and Safety procedures Responsible to ensure efficiency of:
    • Supply Chain : to ensure that all components (internal and external) are delivered on time
    • Procurement : to ensure the contracts with suppliers are managed in a way to support LSP/ Solutions

    We are looking for an senior profile with international experience in delivering solutions in healthcare and preferably construction space in emerging markets that meets the following criteria.

    • Deep experience in leading the implementation of technology and business process improvement projects.
    • Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry including clinical processes, workflows, and related technology.
    • Project Management Certification (PMI or equivalent) and/or ITIL Certification a plus
    • Experienced in setting up enabling infrastructures in emerging markets (legal entities, processes, goods flows)
    • Experienced in the execution of large solution focused projects in emerging markets
    • Experience in building/infrastructure or similar projects in emerging markets and specifically Africa is a pre
    • Fluent in English and preferably French and or Arabic
    • Deep knowledge on export business and relation(s) to order/goods/services/money/ tax and information flows
    • Broad knowledge on Operations, Lean, F&A, Risk, Legal, IT;
    • Experienced in negotiation and contracting of ( b2b) agreements for suppliers & partners in a project environment
    • Experienced Risk manager with creative and flexibility in risk mitigation
    • Communicates Effectively – verbal and written communication skills with customers and leadership
    • Builds effective ( virtual) teams
    • Able to translate a complex business opportunity into an executable program and operationalize towards stable execution

    Currently we have the opportunity for a dynamic Client Delivery Manager – Philips HealthSystems to join our team and to be based in Nairobi, Kenya or Eindhoven, Netherlands

    Philips Africa is operating in a dynamic volatile market with a significant opportunity to deliver healthcare solutions in long term strategic partnerships. As a Client Delivery Manager you will have the challenge to drive opportunities from qualification/bid to execution managing the customer experience, project realization and project performance over the life cycle of the project. This role will start with a limited set of large projects in East Africa aiming to expand the portfolio of projects across Africa. The role will involve extensive travel throughout Africa.

    You will manage the local and global Philips teams and partners involved in the solution bid and the delivery. You will work closely together with a wide variety of market and global roles across a wide span of functions.

    You will report to the Head of Market Operations and to the Market Solutions Leader.

    You are responsible for:

    Ultrasound Business Line (BL) Specialist - East Africa

    Job Description

    Currently we have the opportunity for a dynamic Ultrasounds Business Line Specialist to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya and be responsible for the East African market.

    As a BL Specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing order intake, sales, price realization and customer satisfaction whilst developing and optimizing the customer relationship in order to ensure the long-term profitability in East Africa district, both direct and indirect

    You will report to the District HeathSystems Leader & Regional Business Manager Ultrasounds (Sub Saharan Africa)

    You are responsible for:

    • Promote Philips HS and specifically the Ultrasound portfolio (equipment and services) during customer visits, seminars and trade shows throughout the East Africa district
    • Develop and execute the strategic plan for Ultrasound business in the district, including Go-to-market, trends, full SWOT analysis of competitive landscape
    • Support new products launches and the ability to perform “hands on” product demos for customers
    • Deploy programs (incl. Installed Base) in the district to drive business via socket retention programs
    • Close collaboration with channel partners in the district and support with complex configurations, pricing and tender submission
    • Actively participate in the districat Health system team sales meeting and provide opportunity reports and action plans, supporting quality of funnel management with updated win/loss analysis in CRM tool (SFDC)
    • Work as part of the East Africa district account team
    • Follow through sales processes applying appropriate sales tools, tactics and strategies in order to support the Account Manager IS for multi-modality deals, including installed base activities / promotions
    • Manage and lead ultrasound distributors to penetrate the market and aid in planning and executing market-stimulating activities
    • Track progress and monitor order intake and sales execution of channels

    Key Measures:

    • District Order intake, price realization and sales (AOP)
    • Customer Satisfaction (NPS)
    • Quality of CRM information including win / loss analysis
    • Socket retention programs
    • Installed base development
    • Distributor performance

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

    • Degree level education or equivalent
    • In-depth knowledge and experience of Ultrasound products and background in Sonography will be a benefit
    • Fluent in English, verbal and written with good communication skills
    • Experience in a sales role in Healthcare or B2B environment
    • Channel management experience will be a plus
    • Experience in optimizing and driving sales teams, direct or indirect will be a benefit
